FFS - Account problems. Retarded NCSoft much?

Hai. Bio here. Er, me and my mate who are EAGERLY waiting for Aion to release as retail got the open beta.

We basically went and registered on fileplanet, downloaded the client and copied a key it gave us. It installed and all that shit..

Verified our codes and stuff. Loaded up Aion. Both of us say our ID or pass is incorrect.

WHAT THE HELL?

It's got my mate who's really into AION really pissed off. Thanks Ncsoft.

Also, he like tried loads of stuff on his account!

On his NC soft master account it says.. beta ready..password ready..able to play! ALL THAT and he still cant log.

    Your NCsoft master account and Aion account Username and password are different...are you sure your logging in with your AIon details and not the NCsoft usenrname and password

    I had to call support for a related issue. They fixed it in a couple of minutes. In fact their support was over an above any customer service I have received at Blizzard. It's especially better that FunCom's which, involves GMs who sleep at their desk and ignore their requests or something to that effect.

    Question

    I am receiving the error message "ID and password does not match" when trying to log into the beta weekend event.

    First, if you haven't already done so, please reset your Aion game account password by following these instructions: Forgot Game Account Password. Then try and log into the game with your Aion username and password you've just reset it to.

    If resetting your game account password did not work, your NCsoft Launcher may be set to the wrong region. You may have received a European beta code, but you are in North America, or vice versa. Your NCsoft Launcher must match the territory of your account. Please follow the instructions below to switch the region for your NCsoft Launcher.

    1.Open the NCsoft Launcher

    2.Click File

    3.Click Settings

    4.Click on the Advanced tab

    5.Choose the appropriate region in the Region drop-down box ("Europe" or "North America")

    6.Click OK

    Close the launcher, re-open, and launch the game client. You should no longer get that error when logging in.

    If you received a European beta event code, and you are in the US, it is because you applied for the beta from a European source. We cannot switch the territory of beta codes. You can still participate in the beta event with the European account you created.

    Worked for me anyway. so hope it work for u guys

    Are you trying to log in an EU account to an US game installation or vice versa?

    See that big button on the top right corner that says : ''Create' Account''  Next time take a moment to read the site instead of comming here and writing in caps saying that you cant find anything. Guess some things aren't retard proof after all >.>
