How long it takes to "max" char in SB?

  from what i can tell, if you're in a guild it's the quickest leveling of any game. power leveling doesn't seem too frowned upon, so that's a good thing. but, it's next to impossible without a friend or a bot acount killing stuff well over your level. as far as changing templates, it's pretty time and money restrictive to refine trains, and there's currently no way to refine attribute points. and yes, you can loot any corpse you find, player or mob.

  fast lvling even if you are not in a guild copare to others games
  u can untrain your points at refiners if u put too much in one or 2 skills you can even take out a dicipline if u have the gold
  loot any thing u want except newb island u dont drop your bag when u die there so no looting playes on newb island
  Dont forget if u do loot another kill u can and most likely be attacked

  "It's Fast" doesn't really say much for someone who havent played SB yet

  Can one of you tell me how long it took to max your first char?

  ok im sorry my last statement diidnt help and i cant tell u exactly how long it took seeing that i started other char at the same time with out maxing any streat. But let me telll yout this.
  
  In 3 months i had 4 char at 55llv or more and 1 at 51. Redid 2 of my char when they were between 45 to 48 and still got them to those lvls. Now that said i ahve a full time job and kids so it not that i had that much time to do this. (max was still at 60 then)

  Now i have made over 16 differnt char have 6 now all over lvl 58 and 3 over 70. (max 75)

  Ok its a pvp game and in a way one should be wondering when will my char be effective well;
  Group bashing: fights of 10 on 10 to 20 on 20- 55 can be ok if you are the right char but 60 or beter is perferd

  Siege: well any char over lvl 40 will do fine healing stuning and just being a target u will be doing alot of help.

  Lvls are inportent but not the main thing in SB. Its choseing your targets and and how u play your char. When i had my fessor at 45 a 60+? druid tried to pk me and we got in a situation when nither was takeing the other out now his EQ was doing a lot of damage but its recast timer was long enough for me to heal and recharge my mana (a power that fessor have) it became a stale mate. well what happend was that i used a stun and it its recast timer was just long enough for him to summun a assassin well the assassin did his heal block and that was that. It was a long fight and iether of us could of went down with a wrong choise of spellls or powers.

  let me tell u this if you have a guild with high lvl chars and you have the time and know were you are going and dont mind doing some walking now and then (if you dont sit around town going "lfg" and not starting one of just going out). I can onisly say you can max in a week. Now dependng on you time u can spend but ive heard and seen ppl lvl that fast if not faster Granted 65 to 75 will be the hardest seen evry one (ok Most i mean what is the point of being on a MMORPG) likes to pvp.

  A newb 2 weeks tops if u arent an ass seeing who wants to spens time bashing with one. The way you inter act with other will play a big role in your lvlving

  for a new player it can be hard to lvl ,solo lvling just isnt done in shadowbane ..it can be done ,with a good set of gear and weapons you can lvl by yourself almost asfast as with a group. but in a guild with a decent amount of xp groups i have seen new players make it to the max lvl (75) in a matter of days ,items are genneraly made by players but you can find "GM" items on the higher lvl mobs .

  char creation in shadowbane works off of training points and stat points . there are already in place training point"refiners" with plans to add stat point "refiners"in the comeing weeks. We have been waiting on stat point refiners for some time.but with it being so easy to lvl to any veteren player rerolling is not that much of a problem.

  i agree u can do it but we do not know his situation and how he likes playing. But within a few days ya ive seen it. How this for ya u can solo in SB and max you char faster then grouping in DAoC EQ and SWG and just getting a goo high lvl char not maxed

  Thanks for all the info. I will give SB try when that new server come online, since i heard its going to have faster xp gaining.
