ok so i got my beta accounted acctivated today and started playing wish and really wanted to get started and look at those awsome graphics ive seen in so many screen shots. so the background graphics turn out to be the best you'll seen in pretty much any mmo but the character graphics lacked in so much detail although the char design is very well done espeacially the color choice. but i really dont enjoy this game and infact it feels just like im playing runescape espeacially the way you move (at this day in technology we should take advantage of those 4 great keys W, A, S, D) so well guess what im asking is do you like wish so far? and do you think it feel like runescape?

Don't like it at all, i hate the combat, i hate the armor design(looks horrid). I hate the movement, i hate the camera.

And GOD i HATE the combat, it feels like a recycled city of heroes, only shittier(no offense but its true)

it felt more like knights online and shadowbane to me

i agree having a disablity (arthtius) and having to wear a brace at times with my hands there is no way i could adjust to the pnc movement of this offering

I agree, and you can put my name forward for account activation. Damn shame so many of the ppl who got invites hate the game and whilst there are so many who did not get their invite yet.

I like wish! And they'll never implement wasd movement (the reasons are posted in a lot of posts). The day the beta went live there were an awfull lof of peope complaining about the PnC (Point n' Click) movement, as we expected. But after a day or two all those people started to like the PnC movemnt and started seeing the advantage of the pathfinding engine (wich is really awesome).

I wont want to play any wasd movement games anymore.

Ok i understand your likeing of this game and will not critize you (to each their own) but i still say the game needs a lot of improvment and thats what betas are for so thats why i origanally started this thread because without people pointing out flaws of a game the game will never get fixed, that and i just wanted to know who else thought the game felt like runescape

I know I am going to get hammered from this post. But yeah I still haven't been activated although my Bro has so I played a bit unsing his account. I like it so far...yes it needs improvments and when I was playing I was lagging a fair bit. But paitents is all you need. Like it has been mentioned it is a beta ppl. I like the PnC movement. I find it hard to get into playing with the WASD keys...only RPG I playe with that was Vampire (and I love that game anyway) But I come from my Diablo playing days and love the PnC. Then I found RS. I know it is such a crappy game and graphics are poor. But even though it was so basic it had such an awsome concept. You had the freedom to do anything you wanted...there was no character classes it was awsome. Like a realy world and you could do anything you wanted. Now I haven't played RS for over a yr now but I got a mate that jumps on here and there and he told me now with the RS2 release they are attracting 70,000+ players in peak time. For a really poor java MMORPG IMO that is a fair effort. Even though the economy is poor and there is so much that needs improvment there.

So that is what attracted me over to Wish...the freedom. And that is what pushed me away from WoW...as much of a Blizzard fan as I am it was a big choice and took a while to decide. But it came down to the Character classes for me. I don't want to be tied down to only having to be a mage or stuck only doing a couple of skills...

Again I have not experianced much in the MMORPG area and you could all call me a n00b for that and not pay any attention for what I had to say but that is cool...everyone I know who is paying it really enjoys the game (Most hail from RS but not all)

And they have said thousands of times why they use PnC. As it puts a lot less stress on the sever. With how ever many thousands of players each sending info to move turning around a corner by sending the codes or what ever they called it. So you press W then D then W again. that is three times the amount of work the sever ends up having to do instead of one click. I am guessing all this would add up making a significante difference when teh game is released. That is a basic example anyway.

All in all it has a RS feel to it...but it goes a lot futher then RS ever could. I think the game is gonna be great well done MR I am happy.

i'm really getting sick of all the f***ing c****s who expect the game to perfect like a finished product

(even though EQ2 and WoW finished products are more like half finished shoddy plumbing jobs)

this is Beta 2.0!! there are still 2 Beta stages to go through and at least 6 *whole* months of development left!!!!

all of you fools who seem to expect 'l33t EQ2 peRfExXshUnnN' just shut up. you're not paying to play this game. you've been invited to TEST an unfinished product.

and yet you complain like a baby who's mum's t*t has gone saggy and dry.

just stop wasting everyone's time

Honestly...how many more people can complain about PnC movement. Waaaa I hate clicking. Waaaa I hate not being immersed more by pushing keys instead of clicking a mouse. I have no idea how much stress keystrokes put on a server vs. PnC, but I don't care. The Wish team says it puts less stress on the server so I say it must put less stress on a server, and if I'm going to be playing on one server I want it to be as stress-free as possible. Also, please, don't knock a BETA's placeholder spell animations and cursorily done armor or horse renderings. Come on. That's like making fun of a three-year old's fingerpainting. Give the kid time to grow up and paint some better stuff. Don't make fun of Beta 2 until it's grown into Beta 3 or pre-release. And lag-shmag. It's still a ~free~ Beta. Calm down. Expect graphics, interface, and connection issues, and why in the F***ing Royal Navy are you complaining about servers being down in a beta. They can fix stuff as they please it's their test and you're just supposed to be helping test the game. People that can't handle testing shouldn't test. So don't. Please. Make room for those of us that don't expect it to be a decent game until later in its testing stages. Good day.

I just wrote you an indepth analysis of the episode including show and title-number that the ridiculous text editor just deleted after I pressed, I believe, backspace one time. Now I'm a little TO'd but I will say it is from episode #10 - Murphy Murph and the Feng Shui Bunch - of the animated show Sealab 2021 which I think is quite hilarious. You could probably download the episodes if you wanted to backup the copies you already own, or watch Cartoon Network's Adult Swim for times they air Sealab 2021. Feng Shui Master Lu is unfortunately only featured in this epside, but even without him the series is riotously funny. Sorry I didn't PM this but I honestly have no idea how.
