I'm freaking bored, what should i play?

slythsslyths Member UncommonPosts: 209

I'm freaking bored what should i play... i've an active wow account and i've hit 80 and got all the gear emblems and naxx, voa and os can offer, and my guildmates are not really ahead in progession, so i'm quite bored of playing wow, and i dont know what to do.

I've also tried Battlefield Heroes but for an unkwon reason it's stopped working, and i'm not really in the mood to crack my head to make it start moving.

So i'll ask you guys... what should i play to while away the time... i'm mostly lookin for games where u dont have to be fully involved before starting to have fun, and since its just to while away the time i'd prefer them to be free.

So what do you have to offer this poor bored gamer?

Try "Fallen Earth" if you can handle client crashes =S

It is one of the best MMOs I've ever played since Pre-cu SWG

i'l list the games i currently play:

    CO, TF2, CIV4, Battlefield 2 (mods), Gothic 3

If your looking for an MMO then i suggest DnD online (just went F2P), Lotro (you may find it a bit slow) or Aion (seems a lot of WoW people like it)

    MMO wish list:

    -Changeable worlds
    -Solid non level based game
-Sharks with lasers attached to their heads

Yeah good idea, I like the open concept of the game... the only problem is... fileplanet... I think i've to live the game downloading over night to be able to play it  tommorrow. Is there anyt other way to get it faster?

Well i dont consider my self a "WoW person" . My genre is more on a sandbox FFA MMO with updated graphics, ore simply games in which i feel like i'm participating actively in what i'm doin (like driven a car, swinging a sword, shooting a dummy). Aion is a bit much of grindy i heard, and that kills my interest in this game, 'cause of my bad experience with lineage 2.

Sounds like you are in the same boat with me. I'm just waiting for a good, new MMO to come out. Tried Aion and it blows...hard.

Yeah man, if this "good" game finally comes out, i think it will give a good twist to the world of mmo's in a very drastic way. And i'll be sooooooooooo happy to manifest this twist.  So while waiting i'll be lookin forward to games who bring out innovative concepts.

I'm curious how D&D is even considered a MMO when I'm told it is lobby based.

Hey there, you coul try giving Darkfall a whirl since you said you enjoy the Sandbox and the Free For all gameplay.  It was a lot of fun with a friend, but I just didn't like the controls and it being first person.  Its more skill based then level based where you doing the actions levels your skills.  I couldnt get into it because it seemed like work to do combat (i.e. unsheath bow, load arrow, pull back, aim, let fire, etc. etc.)

You never know though you may enjoy it.  Exploring with a buddy throughout the lands is pretty cool to do.

    I say try EVE.

As long as you make finding a good corporation your first priority, the game is the best out there.

However, if you don't find a good corp it can be one of the worst out there.
