First off its disgusted.
I havent tried it but i find its best not to go into a beta with high expectations. From what i've read it may have some serious asthetic issues. I'll get in beta tomorrow and form my own opinion.

Im playing it and I like it. It has a lot of similarites to UO... I have a few minor gripes about it, like having to uneccesarily learn skills that anyone would know like to pick berries or herbs. Down time is a little long, but other than that...
The world is massive and the landscapes are quite varied. Its possible to solo but since most monsters call for backup grouping is definatly helpful. Combat is a bit of mashing, but its better than just sitting there doign nothing. Its skill based which is a big plus. Live content is awsome, makes the game much more varied if you start a new character and keeps it intersting as you get stronger. The enviroments are nice, overall graphics arent great but theyre definatly not bad. Music is pretty good, not as good as others (namely UXO) but better than the majority, so far the community is very friendly and helpful and ive noticed a few problems which have already been fixed and the servers are improving quite well; aside from crashing I havent noticed the slightest bit of lag. Performance isnt that great but again its still Beta and it has a ways to go yet...
I dont know why you signed up for Beta, the Devs dont give a crap what you think of their game right now, you were invited to test the game and make it better. So quit bitching about it and shutup or test it like youre supposed to.
If you're gonna correct other people's spelling, at least get your own right. It's "aesthetic".
To the original poster: No I wasn't disgusted because I had no expectations before playing it, but I did laugh out loud at how stunningly bad the game is.
For the sake of the people who are/were looking forward to Wish, I hope the devs can pull off a miracle or two over the next five months.

I think they will make it better because they still have some relative long time to do so. Theyjust wanna test it and it is your job to do so because that is what they asked when you signed up. Don't know what all the complaining is about (haven't played it yet but can't wait). Now it is just to get some bugs out and i will give them the advantage of doubt untill 3.0 comes out to see if they have improved the game. I think it is dumb to decide (laready) that this game is crap. I just hope that i will get an email tonight because waiting sucks a lot.

The game is still in beta FFS, don't judge the game till it is less than 1 month from being released, NOT half a year before anything.
Sure, it isn't the best thing to look at right now but its still in beta, and graphics aren't everything.
Beta tests aren't DEMO's, you're supposed to be TESTING the game to iron out bugs and give your own input on how to make the game better, not find out if its worth spending 50 bucks on it!

I honestly dont believe in a persistant world, but can give it a try. I highly doubt PnC, but who know, before MMORPG I was always playing PnC.
Having bad early previews could be part of a marketing strategy, and having 2d fireballs suggest this may very well be the effect they desire, so flamers flame now and move, and they will finish in great strengh...just a possibility.

Wish looks like a descent game, but I fear that the game is just not good enough.
It's like they are building a house on sand, it looks all pretty till some storm comes along and gone is your house. Because of the bad foundation.
Maybe you didnt get that metaphore, so ill explain. PnC movement just plain sux, and there is no gameplay that good that is gonna make me play a game with PnC movement. Come on Wish devs, its 2005... PnC movement is something from the past!!!

Hahaha, I swear: always, ALWAYS when someone corrects someone else's spelling on a forum in order to bash them they make one error themselves too.

The recent Beta 2.0 isnt an Open Beta. 3.0 will be an open beta, its still closed testing just they brought in a huge number of people, so yes there will be a lot of changes still.
