NSIS Error verifying installer

OathmasterOathmaster Member Posts: 5

I dled EVE using the link provided in the trial key thread and get the following error:

The installer you are trying to use is corrupted or incomplete. This could be the result of a damaged disk, a failed download or a virus.

I tried dling it several times on difference links and no change, anyone know what I can do or if I should try to skip the check? thxs in advance.

Try using a download manager www.leechget.net is a free good one (never tried the pro version, dont need it).
Corrupt downloads are usually a result of a "hickup" on the internet (on your end or the servers) where some 0:s & 1:s get messed up. I sometimes get them when downloading with webbrowsers, other times it has happened with download managers but then its usually a crappy compression technic used in the file being downloaded.
(Compression helps with preventing corrupt downloads, cant remember the egghead words).

tried download manager but no go sadily, downloaded at gamershell site also but got an error oddly trying to unzip it. Could be my network although don't know what would be wrong with my dling (tried dling several times but same result), only error I ever got from a dl would be from dling eve >.< so how can I fix this if this is the problem?
