ok, wow.. so this is pretty much /yawn news apparently. Release date and no responses (until now of course)? One doesn't need to be clairvoyant to see how this is going to turn out.
Just my 2¢.
so...
pay to play is ouchies for this <.<.
Entering a tough market, but maybe some will be tired of Aion by then and give it a try. Personally I think it is designed better than Aion, the crafting system is far better, but it is pve only initially. Of course most of us pve only anyways due to poorly designed pvp systems.
Thanks. I'm looking forward to this one. It looks like its going to be fun.
Is it´s working title WoW-2 ?
No, you are thinking of Mo Dough 2.
I have been following this title lately. The look of it turns me off, but somewhere I am hoping that the gameplay will be worth it. Still not sure whether that is the case, so I will keep following it till I do know the answer to that question.

I personally like the graphics. To each their own <shrug>
Blizzard is already working on WoW2. It's called Cataclysm and it comes out next year.

the graphics arent jaw dropping, but outside of the fact graphics dont make the game, its the gameplay i look at the graphics i see in the trailers and i think accessible to a range of gaming rigs. Those interested in an mmo but possibly lacking an upgraded system should b able to handle games like this. I think its a reason some mmos dont punch out the graphical titles like EQ2, AoC or even VG(some may Q this one but i believe it had some pretty solid graphics with settings turned up, ontop of the seamless world)
i may look into this title more as it nears release as im already gonna be trying out two new mmos this month.

August 2009 Update
(08/29/2009)
We just released what I consider to be our first really solid BETA. We've more than doubled our frame rate, halved our texture usage, fixed the core network problems, and corrected a number of bugs that prevented people from completing quests and progressing...
First solid beta to quality live release in 2 months? I'll believe it when I see it.
