About the EXP system in this game... I only played 1 mmo before this and that was wow classic.
I cant recall wow forcing the player to grind for exp to lvl up... There are not enough quests in this game..
Every time I made a new char I was forced to grind 3-4 lvls to reach lvl 20...
I do all the quests and that gets u up to may be lvl 16-17 at most...
They should def put some more quests up... I really dont like that they force players to harvest stuff...
I kill for fun...

You're obviously missing quests somewhere. I've played in almost all of the CB's and the OB and always had quests to do. I played into the late 20's.

Edit:
Nevermind - brain fart. Carry on.

There are more than enough quests to do. F'in quests are everywhere. You must have missed them.

No, it was increased dramatically from quests in update 1.5. I am not sure if exp from mobs was increased but it does seem like it.

You wouldn't understand
I think the elite mobs on maps had exp decreased.
Based on the responses i give this troll a 7/10
Agreed. If anything I have the exact opposite experience than OP. Back in early/ WoW I found it easier to grind instances and mobs than quest both in the late 30s, 40s and 50s. In Aion I've had plenty quests as far as OB got me and perfect progress quest/lvl wise.
In OB, by level 11 I stopped doing quests other than campaign quests, quests with title rewards that I wanted, repeatable coin quests and work orders because quests cause you to level too fast.
So basically I havent done a "sidequest" since level 11 and I made it to level 24 on about 90% grinding alone.
If anything, there are too many quests.
hmm can someone please explain to me how i can find this quests? I mean it please? Ive been looking everywhere....
just a very short guide for me, where go quest at what lvl?
name of town+ from what lvl up ?
This would help me a lot, thanks mates.

The game has a quite simple and efective quest helper system, It generally send you to kill X [Boars] for example =P you simple click on the name in blue of your supposed target and it points you the location in both the minimap and the world map. If you are the explorer type just read the quest and explore until you find the target ( but im sure you already know this)
Tons of quests around - most of the time I was picking and chosing because I had the max 30 in my log. Anyway aionarmory.com should do it for you. Not all there yet of course, but a lot are.

Depends on which side you are playing. Some quests are chain quests, also you need to find quests yourself. There are a lot of website already translate all the quests into English and list them one by one. There is no way that you can't find enough quests to do, if any it's more like EQ too many quests. Even if you just go to "elite area" like "Black Claw" at 17, if you don't do any quests, just follow some group around, you will gain a lot of xp. like some people said they didn't want to level up too fast, I did the same thing in OB, because once you level over 22, Black claw village XP will be really low for others in the group. So, I didn't do all the solo quests first, I went to do group quests and farm gears. Again there are some hidden quests that you need to finish a few in the main city, then NPC will give to you in Altgard. (assuming you are playing Asmodian, not sure about Elyos)

Most of people use this website for information. Personally, I played on Chinese server for over 2 months and I can read Chinese, so I already know pretty much everything for 1.1 and 1.2. For 1.5, NCsoft added even more quests.
when i search for normal quests it only shows lvl 50 quests

There is a button above that list for Show Quest Filters, select it and use the dropdowns to fix the list better. If you put in the Category (zone) of say...Verteron and cllick the Apply Filter button at the bottom you will see the list drops to 88 ranging from level 1 to level 20. This is the same for searching items as well on aionarmory.com.
