It doesn't start for another 5 hours from now. Of course we haven't gotten into the preselect. Quite frankly I'm going to have to miss school in order to reserve the name that I want. "Pikachu" so yeah, we haven't gotten into it yet. Just wait another 5 hrs and don't worry you'll be able to have a chance to get pickachu as well.

1. For god's sake mmo gamers, enough with the analogies. They're unnecessary and your comparisons are terrible, dissimilar, and illogical.
2. To posters feeling the need to state how f2p really isn't f2p: Players understand the concept. You aren't privy to some secret the rest are missing. You're embarrassing yourself.
3. Yes, Cpt. Obvious, we're not industry experts. Now run along and let the big people use the forums for their purpose.
Wait a tick .. if you pre ordered you can begin playing today ?
No, just pregenerate a couple characters and choose the server for them.

yeah, I guess so... the place where you can watch the future generation screw up their assimilation of social skills in real time.

Good parents keep this from happening, but familytime is slowly disappearing in most homes with increasingly affordable entertainment technology

if you limit the amount of time your child spends in an MMORPG, it can be quite beneficial. my almost stepdaughter learned to spell using emotes from WoW (she played since she was two and a half until she was four..then went on to Wizards 101, Toontown, PixieHollow and their ilk...but we are looking forward to letting her try her hand at Aion). she practiced her hand-eye co-ordination, math skills, teamwork, and manners as well. all this in about two (non-continuuous) hours each week. the rest of her time was spent going to the park, amusement parks, beach, museums, and playing outside. as long as moderation is enforced, a child can come away with valuable skills form an MMORPG.

Sorry about that, I just love to brag.
Here are the preselection times for every major city in the world:

So the UK only has 1 major city eh? Always new that Liverppol was a bit of a hamlet.
Patience, Patience, the time to Preselect will soon be here
