I'm really thinking about the getting this. Unfortunately it would only be filler until Final Fantasy XIV and/or Star Wars comes out. Not to mention I have Modern Warfare 2 coming out soon and NHL10 now. And I do have a free filler MMO in DDO already, but I'm still thinking about it. One thing I have to say is I am an adult and I don't want to deal with the sniveling crap you get from WoW. I would like a game that I can come in and out of easily that isn't going to demand that I be at my computer constantly but still feel like I'm apart of the community (and have it be a somewhat mature community at that).
I know it is early and all in the game, but try to convince me to come or stay away.

The game is new so the community is new and evolving. So you can't really characterize it well at this point.
The game is very good for casual play. You can solo entirely if you want. It has some group stuff but it is pretty slim and really you can just skip it with minor impact.
It also has some PvP arena stuff which can be fun if you like that.
The game is very rough and expect lots of changes affecting powers and abilities as the balance the game.
The game is also very short at this time. So for a filler you probably won't get more then a month or two before you have pretty much exhausted everything this game offers. If you are really hard core you might finish the game in a week or two :P

FFXIV and TOR are an year away from release at the earliast, it is pretty good casual MMO the community is pretty matured and game does not take too long to level.
