According to updated FAQ is All Points Bulletin not going to require monthly subscriptions for online play. Do we have a new GW model challenger here?
How much will APB cost?The actual price for the game itself is still under discussion but well keep you up to date. We can confirm that APB will not require a monthly subscription.

Awesome, a game that I don't have to worry about paying monthly fees for. Also for 100 people per server I wouldn't buy it if it had a monthly sub.

As it is unlikely that there will only be the initial fee, this is my single greatest worry about this game. I'd choose subscriptions any day over the alternatives.
actually 50 people in one city is crowded, 100 sounds like too much. Good on paper, bad in practice. This is based on GTA 4 8 player free roam, granted it may be smaller city but its easy to see how 100 people in bigger city is A LOT. It will be mayhem, lots of random deaths as well.
No monthly subs is good news, although it opens the door for micro-transactions, possibly :-/
