stupid gold farmers...

They are already advertising powerlvling! makes me mad!!!

    Not much is able to detect somebody -giving- their login to somebody else to play a game for them.

    At least most of this is now illegal in China.

    I would love to see some one make enough of an example out of a lot of them to shut that shit down, know it wont happen but I would cream in my pants a bit if they could hang 20% of the farms out to dry publicly. Hell the music industry managed to kill P2P music download why cant game kill farmers, the music industry didn't even have the support of the consumers I will bet the majority of the gamers would support he game industry in shutting down farmers.

     

     

    Before you flame I do relize that a large portion of gamers use farmers or else they wouldn't be in buisness but I also think a large % dont use farmers and a fairly vocal % hate farmers which is more than what the music industry had when they whent after P2P file transfer sites.

     

    Note im grouping gold farming and saleing in with paid power leveling and all other forms of 3rd party paid services, its just easier to call them farms.

    NC  should ip ban any pc connecting from china, since they have their own servers to play on...

    Now I dont like that idea, I know what your getting at and why, but there are lagit players that want to play on an english speaking server that live in china and you shoudl never hurt the inocent to catch the asses.

    Good idea, except they would just use a proxy server.

    On this same subject when I was googling Aion for the open beta bout a week and a half ago the second link in the google search was for an illegal Aion gold sales page. I was disgusted. Hope they take a hard line againgst these guys, they really negatively affect an MMO's economy.

    Yes I know it would still happen but it probably wouldn't be thrown in my face as much or spamed over the region chat like we usualy see. Make them pricks have to sneak around is better than letting them walk about with no fear of repercusion. Now I am not a fan of what hte music industry did personaly (and research shows it) that particular instance P2P was helping the industry or at least I have read several articals that sugest it, I for one have not baught a single CD since then nore will I, I will live with free radio and my exsisting collection the new stuff sux any way lol.

    Back to the point, I think an industry wide push against the god farmers would tone it down A LOT, but MMOs though big are not the whole industry and thus I think we have a ways to go for that to happen.

    mm the thing is ,i went to silkroad this week i could be wrong but i think there was a massive emptying of farmer from sro

    and i bet they re coming to aion.that wilml make lot of player (ya right)

    Hope you don't mind me going off topic... but this is blueelf...My account just got banned, for what I do not know... I just been posting on Aion... And I don't think I did anything bad did I? I been getting a lot of warnings for things I havn't thought it was bad!

    i find it very stupid the people who would pay those farmer for powerlvling because we play a game to enjoy it, i mean u do the quest with ur friend, chat, sell, fight , lvl, etc. is wat the game is made for and it is wat u p2p for why bother paying extra to get powerlvl i really find it stupid

    I've never understood why even giants like WoW, would not region block nations to stop gold farmers. It would be SOOO much easier just to put china on a region block for the west. I mean, comeon, chinese does have their own servers, let them play on those. Keep them there so we don't get gold sellers here.

    And I doubt, Ozzy Ozbourne has the energy to fight millions of Chinese.
