Unofficial release date for Guild Wars 2.

I was in the local gamestop today and they are starting to take pre orders for guild wars 2. According to them it will be release 11/02/2010. Wish it was sooner but hey I waited this long what's another year.

That means nothing they have to give a date to sell a preorder. They usually just pull a random date out of there ass.
It is pure speculation at this point

Gamestop is full of it when it comes to rumored releases.
I advise you to avoid Gamestop for gaming preorders and release dates.
Can't believe everything you see. They just need aput a date for the game so they can start taking preorders, but the game can come out whenever as long as its perfect.

Sarcasm aside, I'd give it at least a year. Probably two.

Right now there isn’t a released date, and even that FAQ could be wrong...
Bah, I'd rather wait until it's confirmed by the devs before I start getting ready to pre-order (which I definitely am thinking of doing; first time I've preordered a game. How exciting!) No use getting all our hopes sky high, only to plummet down when reality hits.

Shops often announce possible release dates... they know nothing though, it is just to try and get people's money with pre-orders.
Is that Day /Month / Year or Month/Day/Year ?
November next year I could see maybe happening. February is too soon for upsetting anything precious Aion related.
Guys it's too early to predict. And besides I don't care if GW2 comes out in 2012 as long as it kicks ass!

i have this weird feeling that they will release GW2 in their traditional date: April 28
they released GW1 and Factions during that date, and NF six months after Oct 27(as they originally planned to have campaigns six months apart)
so it might be April 28, 2010 which will be very good
or April 28, 2011
but since im speculating so its still good as nothing
