I currently find that I enjoy MMORPGs with more realtime action based combat, rather than the point click auto attack model so common. I've been playing DDO recently and was wondering what other mmorpgs play with actiony combat. So far on my list I have:
Darkfall (haven't played)
Age of Conan (haven't played)
Chronicles of Spellborn (waiting for the supported version to come out)
Dungeons and Dragons Online
So am I missing any popular action mmorpgs?

Mortal online is going a long way with this. It is not released yet but if you pre-order it you can join the beta.
WWII Online.
Just tried the Conan free trial, games combat feels more turn based than twitch for some reason, wasn't having much fun with it either.
50 dollars seems way too much money to spend on Darkfall when it gets so many mixed reviews. Premise is great, but from the videos gameplay looks choppy. Gave Mortal Online a look, seems like Darkfall but much more polished. From the videos I've seen even though they are aiming for a release soon it seems to be in very early beta...
About WWII, army isn't my thing, more into fantasy or sci-fi.
Champions Online is a action mmo but not sure if you like super-hero mmos.
I was in the "open" beta for champions. Loved the customization, but I wouldn't fully classify it as an action mmo. My meaning you are still locking on to a target, auto-attacking to a degree.
