Crafting worth the expense?

Anyone know if crafting is worth the huge money sink? Even with doing work orders and farming as much mats as I can, it seems very expensive. I know in most MMO's the mats cost more then the product but I am wondering if Aion will have crafting only BoP's or something that will make it worth it. Currently, I gather everything but am specifically talking about armor crafting and cooking.

I've spent in the neighborhood of 80,000k to get from 1-105 tailoring. After that you need tons of Armor Flux that never seems to drop to actually make a useable item.
While the items are pretty good, better than drops/quest items usually, at least below lvl 20, its still a bit of a nuissance. I'm really not sure its worth the effort making all those items that you will just replace with abyss stuff anyway at some point. Crafting is definately a good break from grinding though.
Yeah it is worth unlike other mmos, in aion you can get items useful for your lvl and you will be sure than you will get some useful items,its not guaranteed when you will get useful abyss points so meanwhile you can go with the crafted items without problem.

ive made some pretty good armor for myself and to sell, but im still unsure whether or not it was worth the kinah cost to get my skill up just to make some of this stuff.
Its probably worth it when you start building up a good bit of cash, but early on i'd stick with getting gear from the AH/PS
