There is no XP for PvP kills (directly). There are missions in conflict towns that give you XP for making a certain number of kills, though
There is a debuff put on you if you kill folks more than a bit below your level. Even if they attacked you. It takes several kills for the debuff to activate, and many more to increase the debuff to ruinous levels.
When in a PvP zone, everyone is a valid target. Including your own faction. Including your own TEAMmates. Including your own horse/vehicle. Friendly Fire Isn't.
If someone of your faction attacks you, and you should be so rude as to kill them instead of letting them kill you, YOU take a faction hit for defending yourself.
Actually, there is PvP experience. It's called death toll and simply works as a type of faction more than anything else. When your death toll is at a certain level, you can buy things from special Death Toll merchants, which seem to be regular items available much earlier than normal from what I have seen. I don't know what it's like at the higher levels though. S1 is not a good indication of the PvP. S2 introduces Conflict towns, where killing members of other factions, as well as doing the quests will push a counter upwards for your faction until you take over the town. After it is taken over, you can then do quests and kill other players to open up better merchants, more guards, etc. I'm not sure what S3 brings to the table, but it is probably more areas of PvP.
PvP in FE is 'only in designated areas'. There is no PvP loot whatsoever. There is no XP for PvP kills (directly). This sounds excellent! Bullets from your own guys in real world combat does not magically whizz around you. They kill you just as good as the enemies. Maybe gamers can learn the 90 degree rule

No. There are designated PvP-zones, and only a single server.
