Where'd the private stores go?

Was their just a server reset, or have they fixed the problem with afk stores?

You can only have a store open for 30 minutes now. So those afkers get kicked if they are still afk at the end of the half hour.
thank god ncsoft did something on my server there were almost 500 afk private shops with titles " Stopping you from login qq more" in sanctum alone. good riddance i say. then alot of private shops with green gear selling for 9999999? wtf.
It doesnt matter if the stores are gone or not, there are others ways to stay in game while being AFK. So, this solved pretty much nothing...

on topic. How any MMO company that has been in business as long as NCSoft has and not to have seen this type of thing happening is a big ball drop imo (disclaimer read IMO its my opinion and you cant change it)
good on them to at least admit and fix the issue this quickly
Aion Devs:
We are bringing the servers down at 6:00AM PST (more), September 25th, for maintenance. The purpose of this downtime is to tweak the way Private Stores work. A timer of 30 minutes will be implemented to prevent these shops from being abused as a means to prevent disconnection and alleviate queues.
The maintenance is expected to run no longer than 1 hour.

Its a smart move to put a timeron private stores. They may increase the time after the servers stabalize in population, etc
However, its treating a symtpom and not the underlyng problem. They will likely bring up a new server soon as well as icncrease existing server population counts

As you say, Czzarre, the real solution is more servers, but I'm glad these jerks are not allowed to abuse game mechanics any longer.

I waited for 2 hours in queue just to see those shops in sanctum, To those that abuses the afk private shop you can shove that private shop up your ass and go to hell. About time that ncsoft does somethign about this , and it pisses me off.
Very Good job by NCsoft catching and repairing this issue in ...... THE FIRST WEEK OF RELEASE....... i have never seen a game released by a company that listens to it's players as proficiently as NCsoft ...... yes they have made a few mistakes... but .. Damn they fix them fast ....

Korea & China have to pay by the hour so they don't have much of a problem with AFK stores.
