Im just wondering how much is it like Fallouts Setting, Destroyed/dirty planet gangs and mutants, ya know the normal fallout stuff.

I'm still waiting for F.O.O.L  (Fall Out On Line)

A Fallout MMO is not even remotely close to being released.

As far as Fallen Earth goes, pretty much the closest thing to Fallout on the market, AND its a fun and unique non WoW clone MMO too (you only get like, one of those every 2 years and this year we got 2!)

All you guys are refering to Fallout with this game. Don't forget Mad Max, for some reason that is where I find the similaritys.

I mean it is postacopalyptic but to get into a Fallout MMO replacement would they atleast made the game slightly more towards the postmodern 50's feel Fallout has. Is not that what by large define the feel in Fallout?

IT satisfies my feel for a PA-world. But not so shure about the Fallout part though.

I'm so broke. I can't even pay attention.

Quite honestly the majority of the game just feels like its just an average day in the desert.

Lots of bloody sand, dirty run down shacks, and abandoned vehicles. Make that a desert in Kentucky.

I never did play the first 2 Fallouts only 3 and I enjoyed it a lot and I enjoy FE as well. But if you have Fallout 2 handy you can download this patch and it turns it into a MMO.

www.fonline.ru/news.php <~~~~  Official site of the developers.

Its in its 3rd beta test right now I'm not sure if you can download the file off their site or not. But there is a torrent just search for Fonline.  It seems like it would be pretty sweet though.

Its not nearly as dark as fallout. There haven't been an atomic war, the world broke down after  a disease killed most of humanity.

Society lives on, its not anarchy like in Fallout but its fragmented and at times primitive.

Game feels more like pre-cu SWG than Fallout when playing with combat working like NGE SWG combat.

Apparently fallout might not ever have a mmo so this is the closest thing we will find to it for a while atleast.

Seems like Fallout set the stardards of what a post apocalyptic game should be. Fallen Earth just a different take on the whole theme. Kind of disappointed this was not done by someone else who could give this game more love it deserves.

Fallen Earth is definitely not a substitute for a Fallout MMO!

I think Fallen Earth was inspired by too many episodes of that cowboys in space tv series, it was pretty naff - Serenity? A few bits of music in the game sound like they're ripped from that show, the whole 'settlers' look and feel has been copied, but there aren't any spaceships. All planetside.

Once you've gone through the single player content in Fallen Earth you'll reach the point where you've maxed out your character progression and then you're faced with making PvP interesting and meaningful. What I'm saying is all the single player content is in there and feels alright, but the multiplayer content doesn't seem to exist aside from a handful of group PvE encounters in sectors 2 and 3. Think of Fallen Earth as a glorified chat client.
