Final Beta Downloader Available

In preparation for the start of the Final Beta, you can start downloading the game installer in your preferred choice of language (English, French or German), using the links below. As a reminder, the first phase of the Final Beta will be opened to those who attained an authentication key through the official Blizzard pre-order campaign, as well as current Closed Beta testers, who will maintain their existing account and characters. More testers will be included in the near future. You do not need to download the file if you already have the latest version of the client software installed. This download is intended primarily for new players entering World of Warcraft for the first time

yup and most likely wont start till at least midday tomorrow perhaps itll start on monday in case there are any problems all the support staff will be available./

Wish they had another option to download the client because their bittorrent service is very slow. The downsteam I get jumps between 4.0kb/sec to 50.0kb/sec, this is the same type of thing that was happening when I was downloading the american open beta of World of Warcraft.

Well at least I'm downloading the files which is the main thing. I have another week off before I start my Call Centre Advisor training, so at least I will have time to enjoy myself with this beta. 6% downloaded another 94% to go downloading at 20.0kb/sec.

If I went and downloaded the files like Neas said a few days ago I wouldn't have to worry, but better to be safe then sorry.

Forget about the blizzard downloader! get the exact same installer here: http://wowtorrents.de.vu/
Choose EN Torrents, and use whatever bittorrent service you'd like!

Well World of Warcraft is now installed (got to hate how long it takes to install). Just have to wait for Blizzard to open up the signup page on the european website so I can get my account created and enter my pre-order cd-key that I've been dying to use for over a month now

Ahem the Final Beta has NOT started ..... Blizzard are just fobbing us off with the download ... so they are still in early January as they promised .... don't get too hopeful.

I'm just downloading at my max speed, give it some time. Cause if about half the people already downloaded it there are more uploaders to upload from so your download will go faster.

I thought the same thing when I downloaded the US open beta Foleor and it still took over 40 hours to download.

Looks like blizzard is working their asses off. if we're lucky, the beta will start tomorrow

I was hoping to wake up and hope to see that the EU World of Warcraft website back to be normal with links to create my account, but instead that gave more updated news. It's not what I wanted, but it's more then other MMO companies do, who just don't both to post any news for weeks on end until the last hours of something.
