To those flaming Battleswarm

I'm not quite sure why people are playing this game for an hour and then uninstalling it.  I'm guessing 1, they were too lazy to do both tutorials to figure out how to even play the game.  (There are a lot of things that new players won't know without doing the tutorials).  To those complaining about the MegaTIX, you DONT HAVE TO USE THEM TO GET ANYTHING IN THE GAME.  You can buy every single thing in the consignment shop if someone has it for sale.  Gift boxes also can give you the same type of useful toys from the MegaTIX.  You can buy everything with gold for the most part and it is extremely easy to get gold as you get it for every game you play.  The last reason people are probably complaining is because they got their ass handed to them by a team of people who knew how to play.

This game is incredibly fun and to those who gave up on it after an hour or a day, you are probably just a whiny little girl who cries when they lose.  With the right strategy I've seen some amazing teams on both the bug and human side.

If you are looking for a MMO game this isn't for you.  The games are 8-16 people and last 10-20 minutes depending on the map.

My point, don't listen to the people who just cry all the time.  They are just upset because they can't win.  Play the tutorials and enjoy if you haven't already.

Why is there always someone defending the worst possible games. Also, your post doesn't belong on this board. The only one whining is you sir.  The game lacks any kind of polish or quality anyone would expect from a game in the year 2009. Yes it is 2009 , not 1999 , the year this game was obviously made.  It still would have failed then of course.

The bloody game wouldnt even let me get into a lobby to try it out, their customer service is poor and they still havn't got back to me. My rig can play Fallout3 with HD textures installed with NO slowdown, so why is it that a game that looks like a playstation one game with bare minimum requirements act this way. I've read about the amount of hackers and botters and how people are using strategys that dont give people a chance to mount a defensive. The game is a good concept but its been poorly planned out for the final stages and isn't being handled competently.

I never said the game was complex and had stunning visuals.  I said the game was FUN!  I wasn't whining and I don't see where you got that from my original post.  I was trying to give people another view other than the one from people who have played the game for 1 hour and have no idea how to play.

I was also giving insight into some of the complaints such as the MEGATIX which aren't necessary to succeed in the game as well as the people who gave up after an hour who never had an idea how to play since they didn't do the tutorials.  This is what I was talking about with the people crying about the bugs using good strategy.  Guess what there are ways around them as there are humans who pretty much never lose because they are GOOD.

I expect that people are uninstalling it because they are bored with it.

For players that are used to playing 3D realtime interactive games, a 2D browser game where you have to wait minutes or hours for things to happen isn't very stimulating and will probably not be much fun.

I played the beta for a few hours a few days ago. Planned to play it again, but somehow up to now BattleForge or TF2 were just too much fun.

My impression of BattleSwarm wasn't the best either. The graphics were a bit disappointing to me and the graphical user interface was unintuitive. Most of the beta testers were unfriendly and in general I didn't have that much fun.

Not saying that the game is horrible or bad or something. But currently... I don't know. The game has certainly some interesting mechanics, but it doesn't hook me. Maybe it's one of those games that get the more fun the more you know about it, so you can value little details that the new players don't notice. But as said... beta is still installed, and I wanted to play it again. But when I have time to play, I currently rather want to invest it into something else.

Let's play Fallen Earth (blind, 300 episodes)

Let's play Guild Wars 2 (blind, 45 episodes)

My problem with BF is that it don't feel "solid".

It feels like a massive spammage with another spammage of items that all all the sameish sameish...

Sad, that a concept like this lack some misterious X flavour :-(

I didn't see many complaints at all except like two in my post that the game is open? But the game does have glaring balance flaws. If you want to play bugs currently also you are required to have certain bugs to be effective or even stand a chance to win against people who have armor on the human team.

As for paying for items you don't have to pay to get items! You didn't specify that it is VERY hard to actually recieve weapons/armor. In the time I played it for I can't say I ever got one piece of armor. I got lucky and got a assault shotgun for 30 days. I have a strong feeling no one will be using the system provided to sell armor/weapons later on or they will instantly be bought out unless it's a rediculous price. The only reason their is alot of items on the list currently is were given free metatix.

One other thing that I see being an issue would be if you were to pay for metatix it's a giant money sink. As it is currently items time ticks down while not in game or offline if you use the items once. What incentive also does anyone have to actually have gold since the gold items are easily achieved?

I'm probably missing a few things that are valid complaints from those who played for an extended period of time for the current build. However, if you want just ask me.

I think its a great game i mean think about it firstly ofcourse there will be glitches and lag its in closed beta still, and to an extent you cant base a game off its graphics. Also its f2p so you gotta cut it some slack with the graphics, sure maybe the game isnt that diverse but the fact of the game it is aimed at rts and fps players. So sure people wont think its solid but srsly the game was gonna need alot of work on from the start and its still in closed beta im sure that after the full release and some updates it will run smoothly and it will be alot better ran than it is now. The game has a great fun idea its not a copy like evey other f2p mmofps or rpg and im happy it doesnt have the best graphics so that many players can play without lag. And Skarmonyx -_-'' it wouldnt let you in the lobby and you get slowdown from this game with bare minimum graphic if this is true then i think you alone cuse i never had any sort of  problems or heard any1 having the same problems as you. People have to be persistant with these games you cant judge it in close beta you just have to play for atleast a day to understand its potential thats what a beta is 4 i think to test wether the concept it likeable and find the problems with the game and there are alot which they will fix when the full release comes out so give it a good try like silacoid said so you can actually grasp the concept of the game anyways sorry for the shit grammer and spelling.

The concept behind the game is awesome. I love the idea behind. How they presented it, not so much. It's so easy, as an fps person in the game, to get gear/items/win.  You start off with everything you need, and you do great with it.

As for the bugs, you NEED some of the rare bugs to stand a decent chance.  And to get them, you need to either kill a lot of FPSers for boxes and a chance at them, spend real money to get a chance at them in the box, or hope someone puts them on the AH for cheap, which they won't, so you'll have to farm money.

That being said, bugs, if played well, are awesome.  But on the same coin, flipside, evenly skilled players on both sides, FPSers will win.   Just too easy for them working together.

The graphics, sound, music, actually game play is really really Meh. It is a game from 5+ years ago.

They really could make something like this so much more fun, but it would take a well funded company.
