i think it is funny, people buy a pvp (PvPvE) focused game and complain about pvp
I'll agree with ya here. It's marketed as a PvP game, you have to know you're going to be subjected to it. It just sucks that you have to wait 25 levels to ever experience it fully.
Yeah..But I think it is better that way (I know waiting sucks) but it means people will at least play pvp with some skill unlike WAR where the 1-10 pvp was just people spamming 1 skill over and over lol.
I disagree, I think if your playing the game to PvP, you shouldn't have to be subjected to 25 levels of the same PvE over and over again. At least make it start at level 10 after you ascend.
While you are correct that you get a whole lot more at the early levels who don't know what the hell they are doing, at the same time you're penalizing those that want to jump right into the action. My suggestion would be keep the abyss closed to those level 25+, but allow levels 10+ to rift into other 10+ areas so that way it exposes those who choose to level up an alternate way.
The issue is the PvP itself seems to be mostly who can zerg the best. It's not about 1 v 1 battles, or even small groups.
I don't know what cave you've been living in but in every game that has PvP for a LARGE number of people (think 15 and above) there will always be Zerg squads, 1v1 will always be rare and there's really not much you can do about it.
I tried i reached Level 40 today in Aion i preordered the game and did the early start i dealed with the long severs problems. but i give up this game is dry. nothing new orignal to be found it is like linage and WoW collide to make the pile of crap which is Aion Reasons for this 1. A Server queue and all the monster basicly being dead... All the time 2. People say this games graphics are amazing and new... its a amp linage (I love anime so its not bad but not new) 3. Leveling feels like grinding... but with bonus exp from quest (this exp is crap...) Oh go kill me 6 of this and 4 of this and bring me 2 of those.... the lore is interesting at points but... the quest i dread after reading this lore is not wourth it. 4. Rifts.. OMG dont get me started... This is the single most retarded thing ever... and if you say this isent involantary pvp your are full of crap... a portal opening while im trying to quest is involantary as far as i see it... and very annoying... 5. People with retarded Char names and messed up faces (if i see 1 more fricken midget with a huge stomach and a big head i will shoot myself)

FFXIV won t be anything new, no. It will however be different from WOW, Aion, and many many other MMOs that are out, because it s copying many features from it s original game. FFXI was a different game then most, yes they re adding many things that are more casual friendly, common to the west, but it will be a lot more different from WOW then Aion is which is so run of the mill it s not even funny.

I wish you guys would stop with the "it's not anything new". The devs know this, they've said it many times.
It's very clear that you don't belong in a game with a prominant pvp feature. Nothing wrong with that, but in some ways that's like saying you went to the water park and got wet and hated it.
You know, I don't like being soggy. So I don't go to water parks. I'm sure that people who love them don't mind getting wet.
I'm sorry you think that leveling feels like grinding but my guess is that you are used to games with easier leveling. I'm used to games with MUCH harder leveling so the levels feel pretty easy in Aion.
As far as the character customization, I'm sorry you are so rigid that any sense of creativity is lost on you. Sure there are jerks in the game who take advantage and just want to piss people off. But there are people like this everywhere. including real life. I imagine you probably go down the street and turn your nose up at people who dress differnetly than you? I'll give you a bit of info. I hate piercings and tattoos. Think they are disgusting. But I don't go turning my nose up at people who have them. It's their body and they have to live with it.
In any case you don't like the game, great. Nothing wrong with that. But it seems to me that had you done a small bit of research, especially as the game came closer to launch, you would have known that some of the game play would be of issue for you.

The screenshot clearly shows the name of the bow. The name does not appear on the aionarmory, which I find would be impossible at this stage in the game.
Since the name is English I can deduct that it's from one of the earlier English patches. All the names of items, NPCs and more have been changed since.

I tried it in OB and didnt really like the game. It was not that interesting. Now every mmo is boaring till u get to level 20. It didnt hold my interest. I preordered my copy and never picked it up.. I was a beliver that you can only find a good game in a P2P market. I am still hooked on Runes Of magic and wont stop playing that F2P (well its called that but is a lie) for a long time. It was a good attempt but meh ill pass.
