Would You Like A Fleet Recruitment Section For STO?

Pretty much as the question is stated, would you like an STO guild/clan/fleet recruitment section? If so what would you like it to be called? "STO FLEET RECRUITMENT" or other.. Let us know what you think. If enough are interested we definitly will do something about it! Thanks for your vote!

Would love one to be honest, there is one over on the offical forums but so many made "fleets' as soon as the forums where open there now it's just flooded with allot of fleets on hold (reitrement) and the like. It would be great to have some active ones recruite here, im looking myself for a more adult group in the SF side.

I would agree. It couldn't hurt to have a section here as well for Fleet recruiting. The more places a person can "advertise" their Fleet, the more likely it is more people can see it and decide if they want to join.
I agree that there is a need for some kind of faction affiliation, but why a fleet registration? People's mind can change and the game is not even out yet!
Stipulations:
I wouldn't want you guys to look out of 'the know', so you'd have to call Klingon guilds, 'houses' (not fleets) ;^). This has been confirmed recently.
Along that note, I think the Fed and Klingons should be separated somehow. This one isn't as big of a deal... But other than that, looks good. While we're talking about fleets, All Out Assault FTW!
I would agree. Maybe have a main Guild recruitment area with sub-forums for Starfleet Fleets or Klingon Houses. This would actually give MMORPG a one up on the official forum and give people (especially on the Klingon side who have been neglected up to this point) a real reason to come and recruit here. It would also make it easy to add new sub-forums when new factions are added to the game after launch.
Edit: you can also fix the "fo thsi" typo under the Perpetual Version heading on the main STO forum section that I complained about months ago that never got fixed while you're at it.

I agree, this would make it easier for people to find what they're looking for.
I have voted yes because I have one here. I know that many of you will hold off because im one of only 2 on MMORPG however after further research through all linked threads and info on STOs official website I encourage you all to at least reply and give opinions on "Join 12th Fleet/guild" thread. We are the #1 most active Fleet with members in over 10 countries and in many states in the US so no worries about time zones and being alone in the threads or in-game post release. Thanks

All fleets/houses give you something to do rather than look at the same screenshots all day, re-read STO chat archives, and re-watch every episode ever made, in order to give you the Star Trek fix you need. If you switch or change your mind, we see it as your loss. That or we expect you to return later, maybe post Beta? One fleet is now in hibernation and will open up again post-launch.

Yeah i think a Fleet recruitment section over here would be very nice.
While the STO forums have a recruitment section it's pretty crowded and such so it's hard to sit down and sift through all the fleets available to you. Also it never hurts to expand your horizons by having multiple Recruitment locations

I completely support a fleet recruitment section.
Personally, I'm not joining a fleet until at least a few months after the game is released. But people who are interested in organizing fleets ahead of time should get all the tools we can provide within reason. And adding a forum category should not be very much trouble.

I have to say I have an interest as I'm the joint division leader for STO from All Out Assault. The "most active" is hard to define despite claims to it. Likewise until details of how each faction will work are released so is affiliation to which faction. I would like for the record to say though that AoA will have members playing in BOTH factions, actively. I'm envisioning maybe more House vs House stuff on the Klingon section and more PvE content (exploration etc) on the Federation side.
I've just heard it quoted on the official IRC channel that every player will have at least 2 character slots and that you can play a Fed and a Klingon with them. There are a couple of developer chats over there today and thursday this week along with lots of rumours if you are starting to feel this is a game you'd like to play. irc.coldfront.net:6667 #sto is where to go or link it off the main startrekonline.com site which will pop up a java client. OR http://hailingfrequency.co.uk/stochat will get you there in a prettier web client.
In any case if you are thinking of playing STO check out www.alloutassault.net, we play a bunch of other MMOs too and are always keen to recruit gamers who like to have fun in their games and no drama. Over 800 registered members can't ALL be wrong!
