Didn't win either, I have taken this as a personal slur against my character by the staff at mmorpg.com and have decided to punish myself by doing handstands till my head falls off ........just kidding, will just have to go and buy it myself now, grats to all the winners you lucky lucky bastards:)
Is this game even worth trying? i tried the beta and didnt really get into it but I did win a copy so I'm still up in the air about redownloading it.
Eh, I think beta pretty much sums up the feel of the game and what you could expect. Since you got a copy for free you won't really lose anything for trying it out again. There are a bunch of topics on this board (which I started) and on the official board asking what the game is like once you get out of the tutorial. If you decide to try it out again and decide you don't like it, Id be more than willing to take the game off your hands
Dang wish I would have won a box copy I think the mmo market is stale for the most part, I like this game because its a diffrent setting from the normal fantasy and has some great features, I enjoyed the beta plus I hear alot of good things about it. Oh well might get a copy soon its either that or start playing world of warcraft. Eq2 lost my sub after they started offering special dungeons as rewards on some LON cards there going the way of the stinker.

No no no no.... You never judge an MMO by it's beta! That's such an ill-informed way of looking at the game. Countless patches, updates, tweaks, fixes, and add-ons go into every MMO every month. Playing the beta may be a nice way to get some free play in, but the changes that take place afterwords don't make it a fair metric. Especially if you were the GOOD kind of beta tester who reported glitches, balance issues, and suggestions. These things make a big difference.
Grats to all the winners. I guess I still have to save up to get the game lol. Is a great sandbox experience so definately worth trying! (Was in alpha and beta),
I heard bad things about it when it was in beta, but I kind of wish I had that chance to play now. Hopefully they release a trial or something for the game because I'm still interested in it.
Very rarely do games run outside the Fantasy mold, so I'll just have to wait and see what happens.

I will agree that beta testing is not a good measure of an mmo. Even on launch day, due to the ammount of changes that may have been made prior to release. Also with this game they have released many patches to address issues in game. This has changed the way the game handles since then.
Bak to the OP, I didn't win either. I already have my copy but I was trying to win for my friends. They didn't have the money to afford the $50. I guess I know what to get them for christmas

I was watching this contest like a hawk.. Guess I'll just have to turn my attention towards the other give away... Or buy the game.
If any of the winners don't want their prizes, I'll gladly accept it in their stead.

There's still a competition running where you could win a copy, & it has 20+ days left to go.

Damn, I was hoping to win a copy too.
Most people I know are intrigued by FE but no one is willing to take the plunge, instead waiting for someone else first.

Any clue how long it takes mmorpg.com to hand out the prizes. Its a digital copy so I'm hoping sooner than later.
