now: GW2 (11 80s). Dark Souls 2. future: Mount&Blade 2 BannerLord. "Bro, do your even fractal?" Recommends: Guild Wars 2, Dark Souls, Mount&Blade: Warband, Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning.
Heh, sounds pretty similar to the idea I posted in the WOW beta forums when they were asking for ideas about Alterac Valley.
I wouldn't do it as World PVP (since that inevitably means you win or lose based on who brought more people) but as an instance my idea was that you'd earn a gradual income of a special resource. The income would increase as you captured goldmines across the map. You'd spend the special resource on a variety of strategic purchases: upgrading the goldmine's production, constructing towers, upgrading your team's armor/weaponry (through buffs), purchasing siege equipment, and so on.
It was inspired by the alien Kharaa in Natural Selection, as I'm a big fan of the way resources are fought over and distributed.

reading that little extract from the magazine makes me pumped to see what GW2 has. The world PvP, as i perceive it, sounds like a true battle of armies, along with what we have heard form other resources like; the Town raids by npc and everything and the free open world. I believe this is going to be one bad ass game.
Played:runescape, WOW, Mu, Hellgate london, Floresia, Runes of magic, DDO, Rose online, Alantica, Flyff, Guild wars, Allods, Forsaken world,
I really like what I saw in the promo clip on this site, and I am looking forward to it's release in stores. Looks great and they even hinted on some of the game mechanics that really hooked me.

F2P? so they ditched the 50$ price tag on the game?¿

Both F2P and P2P don't work for GW. Its pay once play forever or POPF for short (just a suggestion) like any other game.
