I really think it's a shame that wish got canceled but this save Wish threads are so useless! Do you guys really thing you could change their decicion. They either got bought out or really have no chance to run Wish while making money.

I think Wish had more fans than Few...
If even 1000 fans would give 10$ Wish, admin would get 10000$ for the game

Exactly, thats what I've been saying before it got cancelled. Then it got cancelled to reinforce that prediction :P

Apparently when Beta 2 started, server wentdown ALOT & it couldnt support that many people at once. Guess they realised that the server park nedeed & low amount of people in beta would put them at red figures (low = not enough to cover costs). Only hope for Wish is to realese the code to the public & let fans make a server (wont happen, copyright & such).
You may be able to save Wish if you could talk the developers and the publishers (if any) into releasing Wish's code with GPL terms and making it open source. Other than that, unless you got a few mil sitting around to pay salaries and other development costs, I'd just give it up.
Not trying to flame anybody or this "save wish" project, but honestly do you really think it will happen? Somebody stated that if 1000 fans gave $10, $10,000 could be raised. Thats chump change compared to what is needed to run a huge MMORPG with a huge bandwith server and a live team. Even if you could raise $100,000, thats still nothing. Not trying to be a downer, but do you really think that the fans would care enough to give even $10 to even have a chance at it coming back. I dont think so, or at least not enough to make a difference.
Im coming from the point of view that if it was over financial difficulties (they saw that one server couldnt cut it an would need to restructure the whole client to multiple servers) then i honestly doubt even 10,000 fans could raise the money that private investors are not willing to give.
Sorry to say it but unless there is a drastic change to the game, such as changing alot of stuff to get more people to like it, and actually being able to make the server run, then i dont ever see this game having a chance.
P.S. Just in case the fans ever did bring back this game, I will promtly jump off of a cliff from embarrasement.
Edit: Just wanted to add that if you guys really support the projectwish, then go for it. I have seen the power that people can wield, so all the power to you guys. I just dont think it can happen, but that doesnt mean that it cant.
I completely agree that medicore to bad MMOGs should go the way of the Dodo... and fast. I said that with Earth & Beyond when it closed its doors and I'll say it again with Wish. However, if someone is able to rescue the code and open it up for community development, then I'd say more power to you! As far as encouraging the company to continue developing a game under false-pretenses that it will be a good game, I say to hell with that!

STOP IT. The more you children whine about trying to save Wish, the less the industry will understand that it can't just pump out half-assed EQ clones and hope to earn a fast buck. Let these games die! Maybe, JUST MAYBE sometime in the future, some game company CEO will see the startling trend of recent fantasy class/level grind cancellations and say, "Hmm, maybe we should try developing something... new?" Wish was NOT a revolutionary game in ANY aspect. Live story team? Mourning has that. How do I know? I'm on it. One shardless game world? Eve Online mastered that long before Wish even began production. Fantasy theme? Come on, that's about as long and forgotten as Paris Hilton's virginity. WISH WAS NOT A NEW CONCEPT, NOR WAS IT A GOOD GAME. LET IT DIE.

You compare wish to a typical grind game? You must be joking, Wish was revolutionary in many ways. Don't you even try to compare Wish to Mourning, I know a lot about moruning. Vaporware with rare patches and and on one actually testing, terrible stability and no real content.
Wish was one of a few ambitious games that try to be something more than a mindless, boring level grind.

LoL.
You can't save Wish dude. It's not a needy childrens organization, its a multi-million dollar continuous project.

The company is no more so it's no use

I wish they could have saved this game. Too many MMORPG's are being cancelled. It's beyond me why they cancelled Earth and Beyond, for example.
