Do You Think Computers Were Built Using Alien Technology? (UFO)

I just finished watching "The Silent Revolution of Truth", the DVD produced by Lightsource Entertainment.

With aliens being all the rage now and then, it got me thinking about the age old debate about the existence of aliens and the impact they may or may not have had on our own technological advancements. Chances are you probably have a strong opinion one way or the other about tiny green men and the incidents at Roswell, so here is a chance to air them out.

So, my question is:

1.Have you ever seen the UFO before? When and Where ?

2.Do you believe that aliens exist?

3.And if so, do you believe that we have put some of their technology to use in our own devices?

No, computers were built by stupid f*ucking humans who believe in aliens.

then what makes these people think there are lifeforms out there more advanced than us? How do we know that among the advanced species in the universe, we're already at the top tier?

Do you believe in God? I bet you most of the people posting, saying there must be intelligent life out there somewhere, and those who don't believe it are naive, ignorant, small minded, fools, are the same people that would call others fools and stupid for believe that there is a God... Where's your proof.

No, if they were that smart why pick up farmer joe instead of landing in DC, Chicago, London, Paris, or any other major city.

Hold on Snow Leopard, imma let you finish, but Windows had one of the best operating systems of all time.

If the Powerball lottery was like Lotro, nobody would win for 2 years, and then everyone in Nebraska would win on the same day.
And then Nebraska would get nerfed.-pinkwood lotro fourms

I was gonna post up my story but stupid ie/forums logged me out and ate my post.  I'm too lazy to search my post history to find when I have typed it up in the past- which I have.

Anyhow I dont think aliens had anything to do with the microchip but they are hanging around here for some reason or another.  Personally I think the earth is a filling station, a pit stop on the intergalatic highway.

Hope you got your things together. Hope you are quite prepared to die. Looks like we're in for nasty weather. ... There's a bad moon on the rise.

Yet nobody here posted anything like that. Nice.

There are two soloutions about alien life using current data, based on the assumption that they exsist, and have visited before::

    A) They are really really stupid.   We're talking about a race that can some how reasonably travel between the stars,  but cannot avoid "crashing" into our planet.

    B) They are visiting SOO OFTEN that the near impossible chance of something going wrong goes wrong often enough to be noticed.

And what's up with the bastardization of the term "UFO" it means one thing and only one thing "Unidentified Flying Object", it says NOTHING about alien in there or similar.

I find it amazing that by 2020 first world countries will be competing to get immigrants.

I think the progression of the computer from a punchcard design to an electrical circuit is there.  Its the result of playing with electricity since it was first starting to be utilized.

Personally I find this idea that aliens are hanging around playing practical jokes on us to be absolutely ridiculous.

Ok, these aliens start out in their home system which has to be at least four light years away, the Alpha-centauri system being the closest to us at roughly four light years.  Then they have to build a ship which can travel that distance and which can be stealthy once it gets here (because they apparantly don't want to simply land and exchange diplomats).  Then a crew on that ship has to actually travel that distance (a minimum of four light years).

And after they get here what do they do?  They go around scaring people on back roads and mashing down farmers' crops?  Really?  Sorry but I don't buy it.

I can't wait for computers to use the new teleportation of information and not be restricted by wiring. That is going to be some crazy shit!

Not quite. The next big leap will be quantum computers. Also wifi transmits information whereas the teleportation of information starts at point A and gets to point D and skips points B and C. So to compare the two.

Point A is the start. Point D is the finish. Points B and C are waypoints between A and D.

    WIFI = A-----B-----C-----D

    QIP = A---------------D

    QIP is quantum information processing.

Article. This is some seriously fascinating stuff. They also mention about an internet based on this process which would be far superior than what we have now.

Ever study how the internet works?  Pretty much an internet build around us exchanging information by peeing on each other would be superior.  Even the people who designed the internet protocols are amazed they actually work.

No I don't know how the internet works. I won't even pretend I know how it works. I'm just happy it works as well as it does. I am happily living in bliss of knowing nothing about the way the internet works.

The teleportation of information is just so fascinating to me though. Endless possibilities for it's applications.

aliens visited me last night. I would write more about it, but I can't sit down that long.

Why do "aliens" only ever "visit" wierdos and those who are undereducated?

Also, computers and the evolution of the circuit board, as well as every other part of the computers we use today, are entirely logical.

Maybe instead of making baseless assumptions, you should research it yourself. You have the internet, I'd hate to think you're so devoid of critical thinking skills that you can't find a use for google besides porn.

Having a 0 ping to a game would be so amazing.  Quantum entanglement has no limits when it comes to distance.  You could have an Unreal server on Mars and have a 0 ping from your computer on Earth.

When it rains technology, it pours.  I just hope this happens within my own lifetime.

As for Aliens.  They are smart enough to avoid us, or avoid being detected.  We are to primitive.

The people who developed the computer are probably still alive and how they did it is available if you want to read up on it.

There's no mystery and you're diminishing their accomplishments.
