Any f2p worth playing?

I'm really time limited for the next few months, and I can't justify paying for a game...

Is there anything out there worth playing for free?

Some background on my gaming: Played WoW for years.. enjoyed it, but burned out.  Aion was kinda cool, just not worth paying for right now.  Fantasy or scifi works...

    Atlantica online is a great game, your burned out of wow so i wont suggest runes of magic but it's a good game too

    Open beta just started today.   Free to play, plays in a browser (or without one through start menu for full screen with no ads), and players will NOT be wiped from here on out.  Enjoy.

    www.runesofmagic.com  is a pretty decent game thats f2p.

     

    Just saw that Gabby suggested this one.  It's close to WoW but has alot of things that WoW is missing.  Housing for one.

    Runes of Magic is definitely worth checking out although it's touted as a WoW clone so that may not be what you're looking for. Chronicles of Spellborn is now F2P and is a high quality game. Personally, I'd try this over DDO.

    i suppose, but cash shop is pretty bad..

    it feels like an Alpha of WoW

    Lots of them are worth playing. It just depends on what aspects you like.

    perfectworld.com is good for example. The best part of it is that you can download all the games that interest you until you find one that makes you happy without even having to spend a dime :)

     ddo and rune of magic are top choice very popular game 

    ok not in usa but hell no game not made in usa are popular and even those made in usa arent that big in usa ,but

    ddo and rom are big 

    dofus is big also that about it in f2p i think 

    after it would be maplestory still very solid mmo very popular dont ask me why about

    this one tho

    Get a 21 day trial for eve online, then in your playing for those three weeks save some cash up and buy GTC's  (Game time card) with in game cash. Makes the game free.

    Currently GTC's are fairly cheap and its not impossible for a 21 day old toon to have that kind of cash

    There are SOOO insanely many to choose from. Just do a search for free mmo in any search engine and you'll find dozens of reasonably made MMO's. Which one you choose is totally a matter of what aspects of the gameplay you like the most.

    I just started playing this(DDO) again(did a trial of it once and didn't want to pay for it) - it is a fun free game - you can spend money on it for things but for free it is cool.  I highly recommend it as a good free game.

    If you like PvP try Jade Dynasty.  As a side note sometimes logging in and watching people give each other heck in world chat (akin to a global shout channel) is all the entertainment you'll ever need. LOL

    JD is good.

    It really depends on what part of gaming you enjoy most just like in Pay to Play games.

    and what would be the newest  f2p open world pvp best to play(none of that instanced pvp)dont mind other aspect being instanced but pvp as to be open world

    For f2p pvp i would recommend Jade Dynasty or Perfect World.  The nice thing about both is that you can level up on a non pvp server and switch to a pvp server or just flag yourself as pvp anywhere.  Plus in Jade Dynasty they have fort sieges held by the two strongest clans in the game every day.
