hodge if you are so crap at games that you have to use a macro then maybe you ought to stick to simpler games such as hide and seek
yes...well a 25 yr old that acts like he/she is 5 definately should be playing hide and seek (that might be giving him/her too much credit) im surprised he/she has the ability to use a computer, let alone make a sentence that is partially readable. this is directed at no-one in particular, for rules sake, but i think you can figure it out.

When you play a game with macros you are doing the same thing.
Why are you even playing the game ??
Thats just the thing, he's not playing it. His computer only has 256mb of ram and he refused to upgrade so then he started bashing EQ2. He was very interested in playing until he found out he couldn't.
I've got a really awsome hide and seek Macro if you want it.
But honestly Macro's are the natural solution to deal with boring repetitive gameplay, something that MMORPGs specialize in!
I understand you Hodge, and I respect your right to use macros. Grinding is no fun, but coming back to your computer and seeing your new spells after running a macro is verry fun!
Right now MY character is crafting 200 planed maple lumber while i sit at my crappy job and post to you!

well, next time you try to understand something. you might try to see that hodge is just bitter, because he CANT play EQ2 because his computer sucks to bad, so how would he even be running a macro in it. but good luck with "understanding" him. im surprised they havent banned your ip address yet, the rules were put there for a reason...and it wasnt so you could break them.

these are bascially an auto-pilot, set it on, go to sleep, and newb it to level 50!!!!!!!!!!!!

macros in FFXI are where you set a certain key comination to do a special attack or a getting for you or something like that. macros in most other MMORPGs means using something that lets you gain levels and/or craft items and PLAY your character without you actually doing anything. like the above poster said, its like autopilot and it really takes the point out of the game.
