Ok, I have been playing EQ II for alittle under a week now. I am having a blast. I refuse to touch a spoiler site of ask for OOC answers to quest, I am trying to keep the experience as good as possible for myself. I may ask someone in game for help on a quest, but it would be done in roleplay fashion, hopefully getting them to answer in similar fashion. So if I need to Find Sneed Galliway in North Qeynos I may come up and ask someone if they have seen a gentlemen around named Sneed Galliway, another person said I may find them in this part of the city.
Anyways, to my real point. Did someone in the design team of EQ II have a glove fetish or something? I have more gloves then I can shake a stick at that were quest rewords. A few weapons, 1 tunic when I took my class, and gloves gloves gloves. No legs, shoulders, boots, oh no, just gloves or coin. Is anyone else noticing this?
Maybe the developers can check the paperdoll and remember the other slots they made for armor? Hehe. I am having a blast and don't mind it too much, but I did find it dam odd.

he likes chenille gloves the best...be careful.
Children In Back Seats Cause Accidents. Accidents In Back Seats Cause Children.
it matters on where you hunt
for example, EW only drops...leggings
EL only drops...secondary things
it's just where/what mobs you're hunting.
Go to the merchants (sad way of buying armor, crap armor..might I add) and see that there's an equal number of gloves as to everything else

actually I am not hunting, I am speaking strictly on quest rewards.

Most of the quest I have done so far that actually give armor end up only up having choices like a low Medium, Light, or Very Light and so I can't use almost any of it on my fighter or priest.
I am glad someone else noticed something weird with the quest rewards.
I am a brawler and most the choice ones I have been getting are for weapons. Most of which I would prefer not to use. I however did get one awesome quest reward that I am still using, its an oakmyst quarterstaff with some very nice stats on it. I have yet to find any hand to hand weapon rewards, but I keep plucking away at the quests, even if I can't use the item, I can sell it!
