My 30 days will be up in a few days and I'm going to pass on continuing this game.  I went to level 22 rifle/crafter.

There's just not enough there to keep going.  Each level is the same kill/fetch missions only mobs get a bit more tough for that level.  Lower levels kill Prairie chickens and Coyotes.... higher levels kill more Prairie Chickens and Coyotes of higher levels.  To be fair, there is slightly more to the missions than only killing Prairie Chickens and Coyotes, but each level/sector is basically the same thing.

The "Go Kill xyz Human" missions.. no challenge.  Just sit on a hill top and pic them off with little effort.

Crafting is promising, but needs a lot of work for it to be profitable.

Economy remains to be seen at this point.

Mobs hit you from half a screen away and Human mobs that shoot sometimes are facing left or right or away from you, but are actually shooting and hitting you.  WTF?

Mobs hit/shoot your through walls and hills and other obstacles.  Line of sight doesn't seem to exist.

I'm sure some of the bugs, both major and minor will be worked out, but let's face it.. there is nothing new here other than the post apocalyptic setting, other than that it's still a level/grind based game with very basic "lead you by the nose hairs" quests/mission.

Sure wished some company would come out with something innovative instead of rehashing the same crap over and over.

Well, I guess then so long. ATM there are 0 interesting games out there, believe me I looked. Altho I'm no guru, this game has the most potincial of most on the market atm. And lev 22? Come on man the game does progress from the parire chickens and stuff. Yea I agree there should be a wider range of enemys, and yes there are bugs to be worked out, but this has to be one of the best get on it and get it fixed games I've played. the devs  fix stuff fastern you can say oscar mayor. well gl in your search, happy gaming.

The phrase "it's not for everyone"  has been said about many games but it applies to FE even more.

The game play is different then any other MMO you have played in the last 10 years or so.

It has an old school feel to it and I always say that you must be a little bit of a roleplayer  in order to enjoy it to the fullest.

Rpg game you know, immersion and all that.

There is 0 meta gaming involved and I love the game for it.

I am really against having an AH too but I cant have it all now can I.

It's one of those you love it or hate it game.

You either expect to see the same old features you are used to from other games and in their absence you get bored quickly or you wake up the little Mad Max inside of you and enjoy a realistic immersive survivial game where the main "feature" is to make do with the shit you find on the road and built usefull items from it that will help you survive in a harsh post apoc world.

If stuff like that doesn't appeal to you no need to even try the game tbh.

I care about your gaming 'problems' and teenage anxieties, just not today.

I really loved the game in the first week. But soon i  found out the lacking of content of this game, ether in pvp or pve.The big seamless  world  is attractive, but that's all. There is nothing to inspire me to keep playing this game.

Lvl 22 in the first 30 days before he started paying for the game. The game designers need to think about this a bit - how much of the game will a potential player be seeing of it before they have to make that decision to buy it or pass it on? They have already captured one payment from this person anyway since it's not a free download. He made it to this level in that time, so that's all the content he gets to experience.

Forum signatures are stupid and annoying. I've turned mine off.

A good amount, but not near what they will be putting into it. This guy is level 22 (which is barely into Sector 2) of 45. Sure. He's made it to the second Sector of 3 currently. Now, considering that the devs will add another 7 sectors and 105 levels, he hasn't seen but a small part of FE's game world. And the next Sector, S4, will be here very, very soon.

The guy got a taste and he's done. I can respect that. I happen to like it. That's why there's tons of MMOs out. I can continue to play and be happy and he can go search for something else.

Actually I know quite a few people that are in Section 3 and although there are "slight" differences from our constant banter, in general it's not much different.  Adding 7 more sectors or a 100 more sectors is not going to solve what I am looking for in a game and I don't want anyone to misunderstand me here... I'm not knocking what others find enjoyable in this game... it's just not doing it for me personally.  I don't want to resort to the old tired cliches of comparing to other games as that's never very constructive.. it simply boils down to what I interpret at this point.  Maybe I am missing thing that may come later and if that happens and I hear enough positive things from the close friends I have that are still playing it.. then I may come back.

To me a game is either going to grab you or it's not and by level 22 out of a present level 45 level game..... it hasn't impressed me that much.

Honestly, I don't really disagree with the folks that are dropping their subs.  My beef is that there just isn't anything else out there that I am having fun playing.  FE does have issues I don't like:  themepark, AI, bugs, economy, no housing, etc.  But I have seen all these problems before and seen them get better in most games.  What keeps me playing is that I don't have much time to play lately (only level 13 after playing nearly 3 weeks) and FE fits my current playstyle.  I also believe FE has some excellent potential.

I *really* wish it didn't have levels.  Honestly, I can handle themeparks, heck even pre-CU SWG had mission hubs based on whether or not your character was advanced enough to survive there.

    Benjola said it well.

Fallen Earth isn't for everyone, it doesn't get any simpler than that.

hum I have a better idea, get off the e-machine and spend the 50 towards a newer comp. Game plays fine on my system, and no you can't have it.

They've made some pretty decent strides in  performance over the last couple weeks.  Before I was extremely laggy when running everything on medium, but I kept playing on medium because I needed decent settings to take good screen shots.  Over the last couple weeks I haven't had a spot of lag with everything on medium settings and draw distances of about 75% and my computer is getting pretty old now.

Happy gaming, come back in 3-6 months maybe the polish is on the Gem enough for you. I don't think you have to worry about a bubble effect here, sandbox hybrids usually hold thier own.

They need to print this on the box.  That is the best answer and some people just refuse to accept it.

    I love this game.
