Fallen Earth Free 15day Trial Keys

shroomy3kshroomy3k Member Posts: 4

From what i understand there should be a new 15day trial option available for Fallen Earth. According to the site there will only be 2000 keys available, but there doesn't seem to be any info on where exactly these keys will go up. From what i can tell on the main Fallen Earth site it seems that the keys will be given through sites such as this one, but it does not go into detail.

If anyone knows exactly where on the site to get one of these 2000 Keys, then it would be great if u could share the info.

Wondering this myself. I have been hoping to snag a key as I would really like to try out FE before I purchase it, but have not seen any updated information as to when exactly they will be given out.

Hopefully it will be some time tomorrow afternoon so we can get them and get it downloaded and setup before the weekend.

The site said they would be available on the 23rd so I wouldnt expect too much before then. I downloaded mine via direct2drive and it took about 4 hours per computer for the whole process. If you get the key tomorrow you should still be good to play tomorrow night depending on your connection speeds.

lol free trial already?  I guess they are hurting for people.  I was lucky to get into the open beta and most of the reviews on the FE forums on this site are spot on about this game.

So i wont try for a key ill let some one who really needs it play the game.  I was always wondering about the ingame population numbers i visited the official FE forums and there was a post there saying that have about a 5k-20k pop is that true?

Well if anyone "does" find one I could use one!

I have a sort of dated main computer, and need to see if I can run the games before I fork out the cash for them... but mainly I wait now for the games to start dropping free trials so I can see if I'm going to actually "enjoy" the direction of the game and it's playability.

They will offer Free Trials when the game is actually complete. Right now, people are paying subscription fees to beta test it.

No one waits one of this trial keys more then i do. i have been talking about the high cost of the game all week on ever mmo site i can find. I no it not that much to ask for a new mmo now . but i think it to muck to ask for me if i have not played the game. I have a feeling this is the one mmo out there for some one like me and i would do anything for one of the keys.

I was hopeful i would get one but what only 2000 keys and so many people wanting to play if your not online right when you can frist get them you may as will forget about getting one. I have to sleep some time tonight and i have to work all day tomorrow so ill miss my shot. if they don't come out and 12 am like i think they will.

I wish there were more like 10,000 keys then i would have a better shot.

BAH,wish i waited for this so i didn't have to waste the 50 bucks i paid for a digital D/L.

The way i looked at it was ,i liked the professionalism of the developer,so i figured i'd spend the 50 and not worry if i didn't like the game or not. Many developers would not even get the time of day from me,they are so unprofessional..ahem Warhammer .When i canceled my sub to FE it was also painless and even sent me a confirmation of the cancel,so again i was pleased.

I think War is the only notable game i have not at least tried for one day, that is how immature i consider their team.WOW may have an immature community, but at least their team is professional.

I would say, although i found FE to be a very average effort,i would give them another chance,on any future games.

This key allows you to play for 14 days instead of the promised 15.

    15 - 1 day of patching = 14

I never saw such a slow patching script.

The game itself is less then 2 gigs, but it utilizes more then 4 gigs of patch. To make things more memorable, it takes 8-10 hours to download and apply the 4 gigs of "patchworks" which equals 130 kBps (1 Mbps).

OK I overestimated its performance. It looks like it takes 18 hours now (500kbps).

Well, sorry if I offend you, but then if you can't have oversight with this when you are getting 15 14 days of gametime... please don't play the game. :/

The most common I believe is 14 and 7days of trial time. Let's neglect that and whine that you loose out on one day. The game itslef is way over 4GB btw.

I'm so broke. I can't even pay attention.

Palebane, where have you been the last decade in mmo gaming?

Every mmo that comes out is a paid Alpha / Beta test as you go.

Remember, playing mmorpgs are a risk (caveat emptor), no one is putting a gun to your head  to buy their game.
