I don't think you can start out as a GIS. You have to prove your loyality and then you'll get an invitation. You can be either LED or FDC to start out first.
Same here, looking forward to play this game on the weekend. It's sure taking them awhile to give us the accounts and download the client. Open beta is coming up soon anyways....
I think it will be for tomorrow, i wonder why its soo long. If it seems to be difficult to send 50 mails i wonder what the game will be. And i placed a question on the support 2 days ago and no response yet. For example : i placed a question on MMORPG.COM support and,......, only 10min to get my answer <--- that is a support!!!!!

Funny, people were saying how well FoM support is. Maybe they're on vacation ?

I think its a combination of the excitement of winning something and then waiting 4+ days for it.
Plus the fact that open beta will start in a week from now.
IMHO it's kinda "silly" for it to take so long. :P
(Now if we weren't so close to the open beta date I wouldn't care how long it took, but this way it kinda takes away the purpose of "winning" unless ofcourse the open beta date is going to be pushed. :P )

I got an email telling me to make an account at fomportal using my email address. I already have an account at fomportal so I am wondering did anyone else get an email telling them to make an account even though they already have one?
