Following in the footsteps of other browser based games, the fantasy MMORPG Eternum Online is the latest addition to Facebook's ever-growing portfolio of multiplayer games.
The latest integration with Facebook will allow players another means of accessing the game, making it one of the most portable MMORPG games on the market today.

had a quick look at it. Its laggy and yeah not at the moment.

The article says Eternum is "following in the footsteps" of other games but which other MMOs are on Facebook? And before you say it Farmville is NOT an MMO!

I'll say it in spite of your prohibition, because Farmville is more of an MMO than virtually any of the MMOs in discussion on this site. It is far more massive in scope, it is multiplayer, and it is online. Whatever one might think of the game, to try to claim otherwise is nonsense.
However, none of what *we* would usually think of when we think of MMO(RPG)s that I know of ... geez, how about being spammed every time somebody downs a boss in WOW?

You might as well come out with it and just sign up to Habbo. This game is an MMO in much the same way iphone apps are games. Yes, "technically" so, but if youre anything in the way of a discriminating gamer...

Are you honestly comparing Eternum Online to Habbo?? If we're being "technical"here, Eternum is more like oldschool EQ...
I have to cringe at all these people trying to label Farmville as some sort of hardcore MMO. If you ask me, any game where 90% of the content is done in isolation from any other players is a single player game with rankings and a chat room. AFAIK Eternum is the first of the "Proper" MMOs to utilize Facebook.
Guys, seriously. Farmville does NOT meet all the criteria required for something to be an MMO.

Oh my, Farmville is NOT a MMO by any means!. It is strictly a multiplayer strategy game. That is it. It is hilarious you even think it is.
