I want to know for people claiming this isn't exactly like WoW. How do you explain the talent trees resembling WoW and also the abilities within each class as well? Yes I barely played the game but for a specific reason is that my Ranger's abilities are already resembling a hunter's in WoW, Toxin = Stings almost word for word beyond the name of the ability and Power Shot can easily equate to Arcane Shot without the magic involved -_-

The only unique thing I see so far is the offline progression, which I like because I'm a big fan of EVE but beyond that, I really don't have a real reason to play it since it resembles WoW in too many ways. If I were to play it, I would at least like to know there's light at the end of the tunnel. What exactly are the features that are making this game unique that I'm missing? Apparently I can't find anything and no, lack of classes and races do not count as a feature. Lack of options is definitely not a feature of any MMORPG.

What a bunch of copy cat's, Lincoln copied the Cadillac speedometer oh how evil they are!  Honestly guys do you not feel like you are getting ill from thinking/typing "another wow clone" I know I do when I read it.  Why is that mmo's are the only genre I can think of where inclusive features are considered a bad thing?  Honestly lately it's like the more you allow your players to do the more some are against it.  I never played this game but I can say before WOW I played games thatused systems very similar to them, I can say when I played wow from launch til a bit after TBC nothing they included in that game was what I'd call an original idea it had all been incorporated in other games before both online and offline.

but yeah, to call this game Fantastic is like calling Twilight the Godfather of vampire movies....

See, this is the same BS arguement the Alganon forumites spout.

This is NOT about the "inclusive features" like a basic UI (which WoW stole from AC anyway)

This is about a game which is NOT WoW having nearly the same graphics, environments, icons, powers, class setups, trait trees, etc. Every feature of a game does not have to be original - hell, I have a list a mile long that I'd love for someone to steal from three or four other games and combine into one dream game - but the game is a COPY of WoW.

If you haven't even tried it, you have no idea.

There is not such thing as a WOW clone.
Just because you don't understand what makes a game a WOW clone vs something more akin to EQ doesn't mean they don't exist.
One such characteristic would be to copy the HUD, but its not the only or even main factor. (but that's a discussion for another thread)
Since I've not played Alganon I can't say whether its a WOW clone or not, seems the verdict is still out between those playing it.

ummm....hello let me remind you that on THIS site appearently anything and everything is basically a WoW clone according to most posters here. Plus i had no clue that you needed some kind of super secret jedi force skill that obviously you have that lets you know what game is a "WoW Clone" hell you should be a super hero to rid the MMO world of these evil things lol.

Well here is a screen shot I came across comparing *some* UI elements via warcraft. There really is alot more, the talent trees and the skills is the major one, they are basically like for like.

graphically looking at screenshots I'd swear this game is Wow :P  Pretty amazing looking replica.  I just got in the beta and I'm waiting for the install which seems to be taking a very long time on the last file... not a good sign.

I can't believe you skipped the talent window and skills window, they're the best of the lot!
