Why Should I Even Play This Game?

5 Reasons why you should consider KoDC:

1. Great RPG, Sci-fi Experience

One thing most players will realize off the top is that KoDC isn’t like most mmos. The story line and RPG elements give re-play value to those looking for a game with a progressive feel. Everything is intuitively accessible and you never feel as if you are lost or wondering the game without an objective. Many missions are repeatable and all missions are easy to find and begin. From level 1 to level 100, you will always find objectives that are fun and rewards very rewarding.

2. Never Journey Alone Again

KoDC’s party system rewards players for joining a party and doesn’t punish the player for joining with others. All drops and experience are given equally to all players without discrimination. You will notice the immediate benefit of joining with friends to level up and gain resources more effectively.

3. No Item Mall, No Cheats, No selling of Resources

Some players do not like the design of most F2P games that ultimately lead players to compete with other players based upon what is purchased and not based upon what is earned. F2P is a title that is often associated with item malls or gold retailers. No online game is ever intended to be free as developers must make money to maintain their games and their own lives. Knights of Dream City keeps the game fair for everyone. We do not sell in game items, resources nor do we allow the selling of in game items or resources for real money. Players that do not like the idea of “cheating” to advance will like what our games have to offer.

4. Great Support. Great Community

Some F2P and even some P2P games may attract an unfriendly and uncooperative group of players. Knights of Dream City has lots of community support from administration and moderators to ensure the growth of a friendly and mature environment. Expect to be welcomed by players who enjoy the same enthusiasm that you have for our game and community. Customer support is always available to help all players with issues, disputes or complications.

Our community site has many features such as blogs, private AIM, private messaging, chat room, edit profile, make buddies, forum, make or join guild/clubs and more.

5. Great Game for a Great Price

Knights of Dream City has great paid price options. Our full game price includes one year of access. 1 FULL YEAR! You don’t have to worry about monthly payments at all. You pay, you play, you worry no more.

I agree. I would like a rewarding solo experience but the ability to work with others. Trade from my colony to others would be nice but I also want to focus on my solo character.

I watched the video for this game, and it says 9.27, is it really going to be ready?

It will be fully ready. So far it's looking very good.

I didn't have a lot of issues with the game at the time but I stopped playing for a little while and came back and noticed some very nice updates. I'm having a good time soloing but it has some very nice grouping options to.

I have the right to like what I want!

I stopped playing for a while due to sickness, then forgetting, but I fully intend to come back and will purchase a lifetime subscription when I have the spare cash. I know it's only $20 now, but things are kinda tight and I've got a year until my subscription runs out. ;)

Great to hear but sorry you weren't feeling well. Hope you are feeling better. Also, no need to have to pay any yearly fee or anything now. Since the update, you're covered and we have a lifetime membership by default. I asked them so I'm sure about it.

I'll be on again most likely everty evening. I'll also be more active on the discussion boards. I'm liking the game a lot but I was playing a few other mmos when I got started on KoDC to be honest but I'm faithful to leveling in the game again.

    What level are you?

Right now I'm level 15 I think. I dropped in just after posting to check.

I may or may not be on a lot. Probably more towards the afternoon (5-8 PM EST-ish, eg after school) than the night, due to just starting playing Underlight and their busiest hours being more towards the late night.

Anyways, great to hear we have a lifetime membership by default. =D I was under the impression that we had to buy one after our year ran out, as it said we just have VIP access til it runs out.

I have been on and off  playing since the launch, due to work, etc. but,  the thing that suprised me the most was the funfactor playing solo. When I started playing KoDC, there were pple on that I would party with and when I began to get into the game more, I played solo most of the time.
