Hi there.
A quick question.
Ive have just cleaned my monitor , but this time i used Dish soup, and my screen got plenty of lines all over some places of the screen.
Is my screen broken or , will it get better when it dries ? , "If it needs to".
Generaly i am asking someone who knows.

You should just use water when cleaning a monitor. Dish Soaps and other cleaners will probably yellow the screen. It should not affect what projects the image since this happens behind the screen unless some dish soap seeped in through a crack. Also you should wipe the water off the monitor after cleaning it to reduce beading.
water also sucks, use monitor cleaning fluid or fluid thats used to clean glasses (the ones on some peoples' head :P). thats best for PC+TV screens..
The problem with using Dish Soap is that it will leave behind a thin film that causes discoloration. I made this mistake once when I was younger but kinda liked the rainbow colors it caused! What I always use to clean my screen is a dry soft towel similar to the ones they give you with any newer glossy electronics. If I HAVE to get it damp (being a smoker I tend to cough on the screen at times... dang water spots!) i will just dampen a corner of the cloth with plain water. The cloth also helps for restoring pixels that are dying on a LCD screen (just gently but firmly push on the dead pixel and rub it in a circular motion).

ever so slightly damp soft cloth is what i use. Warm water works well on some of the tougher stains. But yeah, dont use any soap of any kind as it stains the screen and you never know what the chemicals might end up doing to the screen.
