When the Earth reaches year 7000

I think we will become such a metropolis and technologically advanced world that we will then be left with the time to spiritually evolve.

What do you think the Earth will be like in the year 7000?

Kind of far off, but I am going to guess wasteland survivors, I think civilization will burn before then, who knows how, war, virus etc., and humanity will be in the recovery stage at that point.

Hopefully something like Mad Max but I will not be alive to see it.

Don't you worry little buddy. You're dealing with a man of honor. However, honor requires a higher percentage of profit

You have a lot of confidence in the human race .. LOL

I say by then we are replaced with an alternative lifeform created by man made genetic mutation intended to ensure the survival of the human race, but instead resulted in the mutation removing any recognizeable " human" traits .

We will become a collective, all our thoughts intertwined as one entity. Essentially immortal.

Totalitarian regimes will all be replaced by functioning democracies. No more communists or extremist Muslims will be running governments.

This means less corruption so that all countries will progress into the first world, so no more overpopulation. Poverty is the cause of high birth rates, so the population increase will drop dramatically as poverty is not caused by corrupt totalitarian regimes.

By this time resources are recycled efficiently,  but still scarce enough that we begin to mine the asteroid belt. However, space exploration is still difficult, and even by then no Moon or Mars colonies because it's not worth living in that harsh environment.

There will probably be a space elevator. Scientists have already developed carbon nano tubes which could construct a space elevator. That means cost efficient access to space so mining the asteroid belt will be practical.

The oceans will be farmed as open sea aquaculture is perfected.

Cancer cures become more effective, and although lifespan doesn't dramatically increase beyond 100 years, people live healthier lives longer and are more able to enjoy their lives longer.

Since there are no more communist or extremist Muslim countries, security becomes less of an issue, except for every day crime which will still exist. Therefore, travel is possible for all people to all areas the globe. However, the entire globe will be utilized as either farm land, urban residence, energy production like solar and wind farms, or as giant wild life preserves.

The place that will look most radically different from today will be in Africa. With abundant resources, and without corrupt regimes, Africa finally becomes developed like America and the EU with vast urban sprawl and superhighways and futuristic light rail systems.

Predictions of a post apocalyptic society, or just plain apocalypse are because people have a hard time fathoming the world continues to revolve without them.

    9.11.3
fyi the earth is about 11,000 years into the Holocene Epoch... marked with humanity emerging into the Neolithic stone age; having survived the the last major glaciation through the 40th parallel latitude about 17K yrs ago.

i.e. the earth is already over 4,500,000,000 yrs old having gone through at least three serious continental repositionings (Rodinia, Pannotia, Pangaea, current.)
Mankind just got into the iron age 3K yrs ago and been mass producing steel less than 200 yrs!

Aww no one wants to entertain the idea of gene mutation combining silcone and biological based lifeforms to create a new hybrid mutant lifeform that replaces mankind?  Aww ....

Nope, sorry.  We will all be dead.  All life on earth will be extinct before we expand into space.   Perhaps a memory will remain for a time, while possibilities of contact with otherworldy life still exists, but in time they too will perish, and belief in space and time will eventually be snuffed out, and along with it, space and time.

    Anyone wanna go play WoW?

Earth gets rediscovered,  after a few decades Mount Rushmore is rediscovered purely by accident as there was NO evidence that the planet was ever inhabited.

Massive media coverage as a massive collection of planets go WTF at the same time(FTL communication).

I find it amazing that by 2020 first world countries will be competing to get immigrants.

It depends.  Will sex have improved or declined by this mutation?

Space....the final frontier. The Earth will be the center of a human space civilization ........or we'll have been destroyed by a more advanced alien species.

I believe that in 6000 years from now we will expand humanity to other planets.  The earth will be turned into the central economy hub of the universe while other planets will be designated to agriculture. Due to the imbalance in the United Humanity Congress which has more seats designated to earth then any other planet. This will cause unrest among the planetary colonies and plead for more balance. The earth reacts by creating the first  military space fleet in the known universe and sending it to a planet colony and destroying it.  Seeing this happen the other colonies band together and create there own army.

300 years the colonies have won the war because the earth could not produce any raw resources.  Humanity is united and abandon thoughts of war and look to explore more of the universe.

In the year 7000  Earth is forgoten and is only known from history books as the birth place of humanity as the Center of the universe has moved to a different star system. The only people that still live on earth there are religious fanatics that want earth to become powerful again.
