REAL QUESTION: i understand that the pass allows you to play mutiple SOE games but how is it worth wille most people i know spend all there time with one game. how is it worth while to play more than one game?
is it you play one game mainly and switch off to the otheres, or is it you spend your tiem eveny ly between games. i realise that this will differ between players but i was just generaly woundering. thanks
because not everyone is an obsessive power gamer who gets sucked into a single game for life? Most people enjoy variety and with the all access pass you currently get:
Infantry (awesome game)
Cosmic Rift (a little bit of fun)
Tanarus (which always crashes, I never liked it anyway..though some people seem to..mainly the people who it doesn't crash for)
EQ
EQ2
SWG (lots of sci fi and fantasy goodness right there)
Planetside (lots of FPS fun)
its a pretty good variety pack really.
If you simply played 2 of those games separate it would pay for all of them at $21.99/month
(planetside can be downloaded for 9.99, same with its EP) and you can get the EQ platinum pack for $20 which is all but the latest 2 EPs.. Infantry, CR, and Tan are all free downloads with the station launchpad.

This is a surprising development, especially since SOE's original reasoning for not including SWG in the pass was that their agreement with Lucasarts would allow it (I don't remember the specifics).

You are in a maze of twisty little passages, all alike.

Old timer.
I just got my EQ2 in today and I can say I am a new SOE Station Access Pass subscriber.
I normally play Planetside. I did buy SWG when it came out, so it will be cool to be able to log in.
I also bought the extra EQ2 guild website, player statistics, item datebase access for 2.99 a month. Figured it was still under 25$ a month total, which is what I would be paying for EQ2 and Planetside alone (actually more then 25$ a month, would be like 27$).
So not a bad deal. Now I wonder what game im going to play the most, EQ2 or Planetside. Ill probably make a SWg character too for laughs.
