I already play the beta of Dark and Light! For those who doubt it's release or doubt how close it is to being done... you couldn't be more wrong. This game is so very good and so close to being complete. They just keep making it more perfect with every weekly patch.

Well, I couldnt really give half a flying bleep about when D&L is being released to the public, or anything like that.. Cuz wellllllllll... The game looks a lil... Meh. "Not my cuppa tea" kinda thing.
But still. Why are you looking on ebay for D&L? Hmmm wanting to sell your beta ticket, cuz its not so great, but youre not allowed to say it isnt cuz of a lil thing you pressed "I agree" on..?
Oh well, glad someone's actually using their beta ticket. Remember to report bugs in case it actually DOES become a great game. (Im still not sold)

Actually, I was checking Ebay to see if anyone of the new beta winners are trying to sell off their entry yet. I think I heard that Dark and Light was giving away like 200 more accounts into this beta on several different websites.
Trust me, some of these people will gladly sell their entry into D & L (even though it's against the Terms and Condistions)... It may just not be done on Ebay, but that would be a likely spot to find one if there was one being sold.

And trust me, where EQ2 disappointed so many... If all could see and play even this beta not quite done Dark and Light, many would be shocked and extremely delighted. I mean a foreign game made by some company called NPCube? Not a big name like Sony, Turbine, EA, or Blizzard?? Dark and Light will blow the mmo community away, no doubt in my mind about that. It is raising the bar so high it's not even funny. I think it's actually because these developers and programmers all have a love for this project and a true passion. It's not just a "job" or a "way to make money"... and it will show. And yes, I may get booted for even saying what I am about DnL. Sorry but I simply cannot hold it in from some of you people here that I know are so eager to play. You WILL NOT be disappointed in DnL. Trust me. EQ2, WoW and Lineage 2 all added up don't even make a wart on DnL's ass. You'll all see soon enough.

DnL is not PnC, if i have heard correctly you have the choice of PnC or arrow keys

Hey, ar first I actually believed you, but before checking the link I read the next few posts...
I heard that a Wish Open Beta account was sold on Ebay for 20 (?) dollars or something like that. Don't remember the value but I was shocked how much people would pay for it. The game still got canned though.
But DnL shows real promise. The only way for it not to come out is to have a horrible problem in code that requires a rewrite. And the only way for the game not to rock is if the devs suddenly decide to remove the greatest features from the game. Neither is likely to happen.
Isn't buying/selling a Beta account against the NDA? Would you even risk paying money for one on eBay if it is? I don't think I would.

I have been trolling forums for months informing people that EQ2, WoW, and Matrix Online are just warts on the ass compared the DnL. But people don't believe me. If you read all the game play features, sift through all the information they have on the game thus far; you would realise that in this beta just released that the game is 100 times more then any other mmorpg released to date, and it still has eager stuff to be implemented.
It is literally the first mmo to have partical accumulation, which doesnt seem to pose a problem for client performance. It's the first to have an active settings manager that reads your computers current systems and automatically adjusts the settings to match. It has flying mounts that are controllable and you can get off of. It has the largest world ever made. It has a mercenary hiring system above 1 or 2. It has grand scale combat. It has player controlled kingdoms and castle management. It has NPCs that will act for you while you are offline(merchants, caravans, mercenaries) It has 3 different methods of leveling. It's seamless and supports the largest number of players on one server ever attempted. It has player housing. It has monster/animal migration and hunting. It has monster settlements that attack PC and NPC settlements.
It will let the player build where they want to, this includes buildings. It will have an additional method of leveling. It will have boats. The list goes on. If you werent convinced by that that WoW and EQ2 are warts on DnL's ass then go to thier site and see why. http://www.darkandlight.net
