Very cool, I had alot fun. The combat is good, and the graphics I like better the eq2's graphics. No monthly fee+good mmorpg=amazing game.

If there is no monthly fee then I like this game enough to buy it. I wouldn't pay money to keep an active account, but if it's free...yeah, I'm down. I really enjoying the fighitng and the graphics. The crafting seems very limited to me and I still need to learn a lot on certain things and how they function, which I could do if I had more time. But I am enjoying this free weekend.

I found it to be one of the best games I've played in quite a while.  I've played a good portion of online games out there, and this will be the only one I play regularly.

Everything they showed us in beta has great potential.  We'll just have to wait to see the final product to see if they can string it all together.  Remember, we still haven't seen the big picture.  I'm sure things like crafting and other concepts that are still a little creaky will be fixed in the coming betas.

nah, you just need to get used to the new inventory!                                                                                                                                                          I'ts a lot better in a lot of ways, but it still needs improvement thats true

I found the interface a bit of a challenge to get used to at first.  But once you get used to it, it is pretty intuitive in terms of keypressing and allows for quick fluid combination of actions.

This whole interface in general, IMHO is much better than any other MMOG that I have played.

Honest feedback is always gratefully accepted! In our post-event meeting we discussed ways that we thought the new UI could be improved. Some of the thoughts centered around the inventory, and I feel certain that we will be looking at ways to give you the increased "sorting" functionality of the new inventory system while still making it very user friendly. For instance, I think a lot of us enjoyed having bags and containers for crafting supplies, dyes, tradeables, and weapon swapping; but many of us would like to make that system quicker and easier to use.

We would love to hear what you think after the February event, for I do believe you'll see some changes to the UI that address this and other matters of interest. So don't forget to give us some feedback here!

    Thanks. :)

the only suggestion i'd make is that the automatic matching of teams in the guild v guild combat should take into account individual character levels (if it doesnt already). i had a lvl 13 char (started at lvl 1) in a team of lvls 11-15 but we were pitted against a team of lvl20's, and got totally thrashed...now it could have been that no lower level groups were available to fight, but some indication or handicap system would be cool IMO.

Apart from that, the entire weekend was superb.

PvE in general is pretty lame, if you think long and hard about it. You are spending your time beating a severely gimped AI that would lose to a well trained monkey. Best not to think too long and hard why you are wasting time playing games in general actually...

I would have to agree on that point.  I had a lvl 5 Wa/Mo, and was placed in a group with others of nearly the same level, but was pitted against a group that contained many characters of much higher levels.  Perhaps there is a way to script the game to have certain NPC's to talk to in order to get into combat, and the NPC's could deny you if your level were not in accord with his/her own specific arena.  (kinda like a seperate arena for various levels such as 1-4, 5-8, etc...)

I realize this may be something that would be difficult to implement, but I also believe that it would make for more tactical battles and not so much of the type that seemed to dominate. (run in and kill as quick as you can)

Perhaps there could even be a more detailed arena for the random battles, making it so that you woul dhave to search a bit before even finding the other teams.  this might make it a little more necessary to employ strategy in the battles as well.

Just my 2 cents worth.  :)

i hope i love it. But the key to this game is when you pre-order it you get a key that lets you try it out before you get it, so if you don't like it you just cancel the pre-order. No harm done.

    I LIKE PIE!!! do you?

This game is gonna be awesome. The best part is that there's no monthly fees, so there will be minimal risk. The great graphics, skill based combat system, and the no-grinding concept are just added bonuses. image

can you guys describe the combat system? like if its continuos key tapping for each seperate

attack or is it like each key tapped and the character keeps on attacking without the player doing

    anything?

Well you target with T... (closest monster).. then hit spacebar... and it auto attacks untill its dead... or u can hit #1-8 and it will use a special attack.... pretty simple...

btw i often find a monster and start attacking, then have time to type to guild members as i auto attack it.
