He was a major mate, a  well established career soldier, not some conscript in for a free ride through school.

The media didn't suggest he was pushed into it, his brother did.

I'm quite sure his brother does feel that he was the victim in some way. I don't see the media as being wrong to report a statement from protagonists family.

neither will they be wrong to report the victims families feelings either.

He shot an incredable 50 or so people this bloke. Tthat's some going. I don't think I would describe the people he shot as heroes, more like victims.

As vicitms go, I am more comfortable with them being bullying soldiers than than them being the schoolchildren that normally are on the recieving end of these sorts of massacres. But er, truthfully, it's not personal to me. It's not someting I am readily able to empathise with. It's just an uncomfortable story on my TV,

There are other stories today about my own soldiers getting massacred by rogue killers also. I don't have time to feel sad for someone elses. Soldiers get mad and kill each other. Happens quite often it seems.

Just to clarify on a few points here. Yes this is offtopic, there are relaxed rules and so forth, but as one person has found out after posting in this thread there are boundaries and any kind of racist remark, expecially extreme racism as has been seen here is just not acceptable at all. It has no place in decent society therefore absolutely no place on this site at all.

Im going to lock this thread now because it has become a breeding ground for hate in once instance and I do not want it attracting or developing further hate of any kind. People are welcome to opena  new thread to discuss the matter as im sure people want to do, but any step towards further racism will be dealt with severely.
