Why You Visit MMORPG.COM?

Reasons why I visit mmorpg.com

- Current Forum Activity Refresh

It's cool to see updated forum post every 10 sec and mmorpg.com is the only gaming sight that I know of to do this.

- Game Information

Easy acces to game screenshots, reviews, pricing, websites, etc. Alot of great information.

- Forum Wars

The never ending battle of fanboi vs troll is very entertaining :)

So why do you visit mmorpg.com?

Trolls = Hardcore
Fanbois = Carebears

The only posts I read in threads are my own.

To be honest because I love the contests :) I did win one of the FE signed games!

Also I get bored easily at work (the perks of being a programmer) and need something to do. MMORPG.com provides me the place to Lurk!

I joined this site mainly for the forums. It's also where I get my information on games, and whether they are worth it to buy or not. I also like discussing stuff with fellow gamers as well; it's always interesting to see different perspectives, even if you disagree with them.

New game information, news on games that are out, to read some opinions even though most of the time they are wrong :p  Sometimes to troll because MMO players are the easiest type of crowd to troll, oh and the occasional contest, such as the hardware give aways.

He just wants to start a war... start a nuclear war...

On topic: mmorpg.com have one of the better forums - not everything is controlled and censored by pr-funding...

We dont need casuals in our games!!! Errm... Well we DO need casuals to fund and populate our games - But the games should be all about "hardcore" because: We dont need casuals in our games!!!

    1. I like to read up on MMO and game based news.

    2. I like to read the variouse topics we get here.

    3. People here seem less effected with an elitest attitude such as the type i used to get on Darkfall forums.

    4. I like to read some of the political topics as they give me a good chuckle.

    5. I like to post the occasional responce in a topic i find interesting or just funny.

    6. The moderation so far has seemed fare to me.

I came here to stay informed on my favorite gaming genre. There are solid posters around here from all walks of MMOs. Some genuine intellectuals as well.

I happened apon some hilarious trolls completely blinded by their fanboyismness. They are worth keeping for comic value.

Weed through the crap, and you can find some sound insight across all aspects of MMOs: what upcoming titles to look for, other points of views on completely subjective topics, and the awesome hilariously delusional trollsters.

That is exactly right, and we're not saying NO to save WoW, because it is already a lost cause. We are saying NO to dissuade the next group of greedy suits who decide to emulate Blizzard and Cryptic, etc.
We can prevent some of the future games from spewing this crap, but the sooner we start saying no, the better the results will be.
So - Stand up, pull up your pants, and walk away.

I like the few times you have the pleasure of reading a well written post here.So i have to come here often and search for them. They tend to be rare.

And its interesting to see how people behave here. I also often visit creationist forum and debate them....and you often see the same crazy "reasoning" here!

I like to read articles about new MMO's

I like to read about old one's too for the memories they bring

I like reading about people whining about their MMO (only if it's an MMO I also didn't like)

I also like to see what MMO's others are playing

But most of all I like to argue in the forums

I enjoy reading posts from borderline-illiterate nerd-raging geeks.  The righteous rage over such petty, inconsequential things is a never ending source of amusement.

The forums is a fun way to be up to date on MMO news. I don't visit the rest of the website at all, I don't like it.

I come every so often to catch up on the updated news on newer released games or ones in development...and once in a while get into senseless debates for the fun of it. Sometimes I'm actually serious in them, but they are so rare, I myself can't remember which ones they were.
