    Early February is what I have heard. Then again, I have only heard rumors, so I don't know if that is for certain.

    There's plenty of people selling it on eBay if you don't mind buying it for $70-$100 (standard edition). Then after your purchase, you get the contact information for the guy you've been wanting to beat up for buying all 40 copies that your local video game store had in stock. image

    Wow I didnt realize there was such a shortage, Bestbuy.com lists it as available for pickup in most stores but I punched my area code in to check for availability and bing- 8 locations, none of which have a copy. Thats really wierd...

    I live in Massachusetts, pretty screwy.

    Glad I got mine on the first day.

    Guess what. Gamestop has copies, at least in my town. Went in there today on a tip from a friend and they had a dozen sitting there. I believe I even had a choice of Horde or Alliance on the cover. I joked with the salesperson that I wanted Horde on the cover when she gave me an Alliance box. She moved to grab another when I stopped her, saying I didn't give a rats ass what was on the cover ::::02:: I was just glad to find a copy. It wasn't even about my will to play it anymore, it was the challenge to find someone who had it in stock!

    Anyway their online store also has it in stock at www.gamestop.com.

    i know around christmas time they were having trouble keeping it in stores, but now that the holiday rush is over and little Timmy spent all of his christmas money, they should have more in stock.

    It really does show that this game sold well over the holidays. There are soo many servers. And they do come down a lot. But, the game is great. . .so i guess we will have to deal with it.

    I live in Baltimore, Maryland and i have a buddy who works at Best Buy. He said they have it in stock.

    If you cant find it where you live, do a google search and just look for some company who sells computer games off the net. And maybe even try blizzard.com, but if what you guys are saying is true, then they might be soldout.

    good luck ::::28::

    Thats actually exactly right. Blizzard has decided not to restock untill they stabalize the servers so they and the players wont have to deal with any more whiners.

    Dude, that is SO incorrect. Don't propagate the rumor-mill.

    Why did Gamestop just get an enormous shipment in if Blizzard isn't supplying them anymore? They were out of stock for over a week and suddenly have them in the store again. What do you think they hid them away in a warehouse because they were selling too well?

    Chris writes "FileFront has broke the news from Blizzard that they are no longer placing their highly popular MMORPG on store shelves, due to the recent server problems reported by Slashdot on Tuesday. Denying rumors that they had asked several stores to pull the game from shelves, Blizzard rep Gil Shrif is quoted as saying: 'We’re just being careful not to release additional copies to be sold until we feel the game servers can support additional players.' The online store on Blizzard's website shows the game to be out of stock. No word on whether or not this will affect the Korean release." imageimageimage
