Star Wars Galaxies has been added to the Station Pass. So now you get EQ, EQ2, and SWG for about $21. I realize most people don't like SWG, but it was my first MMO so I'm sort of attached to it. Now I don't have to leave it and I get 8 characters in EQ2.

that is pretty cool! granted, i have very little intention of picking up swg again, but at the same time, i do have the discs, and nothing can replace some real roleplaying in the cantinas on tatooine.
you have a link to this info or anything?
I really hope that *insert game name here* will be the first game to ever live up to all of its pre-release promises, maintain a manageable hype level and have a clean release. Just don't expect me to hold my breath.
Does it include PS?

I saw it on the Launch pad of SWG as I was going to cancel my account, so I don't have any actual links, but you might be able to find it at the website
just gives me one more reason to get the all access pass. ill get to play SWG, PS, EQ2, ill get 8 chars and free adventure packs. i never thought they were going to put it on there because the rights belonged to Lucas Arts.

Yeah I had heard that was the original reason it wasn't included in the Access Pass. I'm pretty excited about it since SWG was the first MMO I played for any length of time, it broke my heart to have to cancel it, even if I don't play it much anymore. The extra EQ2 slots are just a bonus.
A funny (sad?) story about this: I had a High Elf level 18 Druid / Lvl 17 Scholar. I wasn't really happy being a druid, so I mainly uesd this for the Scholar. Well with only 4 character slots eventually I really wanted to try something else, so after much debate I deleted my druid. The next day I found out about SWG being on the all access and bought that and got the 8 slots. Just my luck.
Didn't know you got Adventure Packs included in the All-Station Pass. That's quite a deal, if you like EQ2 and any of those other games...
I saw that and I actually do plan to pick it up when I see it for cheap and start playing because I have gone with the Station Pass. Sony really came up with a good idea on that one.

It would probably be futile, but did you petition for them to restore your character? In EQ I they would usually do it as long as they had a save left of it and it was fairly recent. I don't know if they still will in EQ II or not, my 1 experience with their customer service so far in EQ II left me alittle mad. I got form lettered and he sat there and preached at me on something I quite clearly said I was not requesting from him.

I would like the extra char slots, but I'm not paying over $20 for it. I sold my EQ1 account a year ago, largely to prevent me from picking it up again, and not as much for the few measly bucks I got for it, given my investment. But it did enough to pay for the last 2 years of payments I made, at least.
Planetside I have 0 interest in, and EQ1 I'll never go back to. I'm not even going to get started on SWG. The only thing that I would like is more char slots and adv packs. For $16 or 17.99 I would probably do it, just char slots and adv packs, but not $21.

Yep, if you just want Adventure Packs, don't do the Station Pass. APs will be around $5 per pack anyway, with a release schedule of up to four per year. You are better off paying cash for those when they get here (and if you like them).
As for more slots or more games... I barely have enough time to play one character with any sort of purpose, let alone more than four or others on different games altogether to justify the extra money. Well, now the point is moot since I cancelled EQ2 altogether...

I imagine they had to do some negotiating to get Lucas Arts to allow them to do this. I wonder if we'll see a cost impact on the station pass sometime in the next couple of months due to this new addition.
na, I think SWG is hurting for sign ups, this is a way to get ALOT of fresh blood into SWG and really get it off the ground again.

LOL, when I read your post it just occurred to me it's a double edged sword. Move fresh blood into SWG, reduce load on EQ2 overcrowded servers.
