In order to reward those who purchase Aion this holiday season NCsoft will be launching a "Holiday Ascension Pack" that will be available at participating retailers such as Amazon, Best Buy, GameStop, Target, and Walmart. In addition to the game itself, the "Holiday Ascension Pack" will include a number of exclusive in-game items.

o Amazon – Hot Orange Dye
o Best Buy – Mustard Dye
o Game Stop – True Black Dye
o Target – True Red Dye

Are those dyes attainable in-game as well? It would be rather greedy considering those are some of the most requested colors.

lol exclusive items? doesn't look to exclusive to me, 1 dye?..potions and scrolls are so easy to craft -_- unless theres other stuff not mentioned :P

Well this is rather unfair. I can understand that they are trying to promote more people to buy it during the holidays but they are completely leaving out the rest of the players. I know that I would love to get some black dyes...

Well people your getting the vet reward that is given when you play for a month they wont.
After some digging, I am unsure on how some of the dyes are given in the game. I know for certain that pedals are all derived from gathering plants. According to some links I checked, some of the "true" dyes are given as a reward for forum participation in a constructive manner in Korean forums. I don't know how they are planning to distribute them in EU/US.
I've also read that the end game tier armors can't be dyed (abyss, draconic etc.).
Apart from the gathering bit that I have first hand experience, please read the following information with reservations regarding its validity.
When I searched on aion armory people said that the true black dye drops from bosses.
Oooh, a mustard colored dye, some potions!?!?! Thats all I ever wanted for christmas, besides my 60 dollars back for buying the game. Still not enough to make people want to play it imo.
only red green a Black and the lotus Amulets along with the speed scrolls are useful... ditch the rest, although anything NCsoft is gunna give Us makes this Mundane Game abit Better and makes Up For the XP lose PAY BACK thing not so Phuked Up

i agree it sounds like we have to pay for the "Reward Gift" any who so ever wishes to PAY fine then "i am going to"
