    What's Hero Council and the Council Forums?

    Well...  The Hero's Journey Hero Council invites gaming community leaders to come together and act as representatives of their player communities and express their desires, thoughts and ideas for game design. In this manner, Hero's Journey will continue to be developed with a broadened range of input and more accurately depict what the player population wants.

    Ideally, it is a mechanism by which ideas can flow from the community to the community leadership to the Hero's Journey developers, eventually reaching a stage where these ideas can be considered for inclusion into the game. Application forms to join the Hero Council are available on the Hero's Journey website (http://www.play.net/hj/info/apply/hcapp.asp).

    So Guild Leaders, get in here and represent!

    Any word on how long a Hero's Council application's processing time is? Are they still phasing guilds in?

    It's been a while since I've logged into my Council account or even felt like it. I would guess (since it seems I've heard something about it on the forums a while back) that they were starting to tone down the people they were accepting into the Council Forums. They still may be, but as far as I know it'll be fairly uncommon in the coming days to become accepted. Anyway, if you have any questions or suggestions while you're waiting (assuming you sent in a form), then you can post them here or on the regular HJ Forums. I could still pass along any suggestions you'd have, but it'd be pretty futile since I'm assuming the devs check these forums once in a while as well. It'd just be a matter of time.
