Very upset at security!
I have played almost all the MMO's to date back from UO and not 1 time has my account been hacked, I have bought gold in the past on a game yes( only 1) shouldent have even done that one.
With Aion because of my work load i havent went to any links, Just when i have have the time i log in and play i tried to log in the morning and my account has been changed i have 2 accounts for me and my son hes wasent hacked
Tell me this if you dont go looking at gold seller sites and you keep everything clean how can your account be hacked? This is the only game out of all of them that this has happened! Do they not have a secure game. My knowledge about computers is very limited but i love to play my mmos has it gotten so bad that I need to look over my shoulder more often.

the exact same thing happened to my account and my brothers. We have played countless mmo's and never had any kind of account problems except in aion.
we have never bought in-game money online or any kind of power leveling services. We just logged every day and play aion.
Our accounts got hacked (first mine and a few days my brothers) and we had to send a ticket with information about our cd keys and other info that they ask u. We both succesfully recovered our accounts but since that day I decided to quit aion, I just was afraid it would happen again. My brother lost all he's money and items, he had to send another ticket and after 24 hours all money and items where returned to him (big surprise, we never excpected that).
Really worrying to be honest.

Wow, 2 different persons decided to take their accounts into use and report about the exact same thing. And it happened today. I feel special, because I have lived to see this happen.

Normally I'd skip posting, but post count says 1 for both... The only positive thing I see in those posts is that it will get some people to change their password for a more secure one and make people aware about not going to unsecure website and input their login password.
lol well, they are months old accounts...so they would make them just to say this? i dont think so lol. you fail at saying they are trolling.
one account is two years old - but the day month is almost the same - when will the wonders cease
someone does not post for two years - yet when they do - a mere 20 minutes later someone else with 1 post puts out the same thing, it feels very fishy
either way - if you get hacked is either because you have a weak password or you did something stupid that you did not realize. It is that simple. Neither of which is NCSoft's responsibility.
so i am also play mmo for several years,in my opinion your should try these method to aviod the hack
1.Choose a Genuine anti-virus software?keep update Virus database everyday. there are some Shareware anti-virus,for example:Macafee?Nod32 Norton Bitfender Trend Kaspersky. also there are some free version for personal,for example:avg avast
2.Choose a safe broswer,i like to use firefox,ie is so dangerous(:firefox can let u leave a website include Malware~
also u should try the opera chrome or safari~sometimes i broswer sex video website in usa with proxy:P
3.updater the os patch in time.
