Heh, Activision blocked the cheat videos.
No surprise at all that there's lag in game when the "server" is some random person's home wireless cable connection. What were they thinking? I was looking forward to the game since it was announced, but the moment I heard that they were not using dedicated servers it immediately went on my "DO NOT WANT" list.
The last FPS game I played that used peer-to-peer multiplayer was Doom 2. Activision & Infinity Ward went back in time 10 years with their game.
Rofl at them blocking due to "copy right" So glad I canceled my preorder.
And god, non dedicated servers for this is just We Todd Did. X infinite.
So that's how they're going to deal with cheaters. Just go "cheaters? what cheaters?". Awesome.

i been playing the PC version for 3-4 days now multiplayer, about 4-5 hours a day, and I dont gt any lag, every single game Ive played has been smooth as hell.
Last night, my son and I were playing a coop. Everything was running really smooth until we got to a level where he was in a helicopter and I was on the ground. The lag was horrendous. We both have cable and high end computers, so I couldn't figure out what was the issue.
What would cause that kind of lag? It was so bad, it was unplayable.
IW took the videos off so I added a mirror of one of the videos. If I can find one of the other video I'll put it up.
