This movie was way overhyped.
I kept hearing good things about it so i rented it. It was kind of funny, but certainly doesn't meet it's mark when it comes to humor. Considering there is no music, no plot, and no progression. You'd think there would have to be loaded with hillarious comedy. But everyone I saw it with only laughed out loud once every 20 minutes or so.
It has a certain type of humor to it. If you liked Royal Tenenbaums then you'll love this. But Napoleon Dynomite didn't please me as well as it did for others. Give it a shot and rent it, you might enjoy it.
Nevertheless, I still can't get over the mexican guy.....

One of the funniest movies of the year, second only to maybe Shrek 2. It seems so outrageous, yet Napoleon comes out seeming like a real character, as well as his family, and the events of the story. And for those that have seen the movie...

Yep, Shaun of the Dead was hands down the funniest movie of 2004. ND I would rank 3rd maybe, I felt some parts were too slow though.
