I am waiting to get eq2, after i get my geforce 6600GT AGP in about 2-3 weeks and then save up for another 512mb ram, in about 2 months grrr *curses at needing 1gb ram*. Anyway i thought that while i wait, it would be interesting to see people's character screenshots, so if u think you have a top-notch character, or just a cool one, please post in a screenshot your stats + ur comp specs/graphics card(if u can be bothered).

P.S someone please send in a screenshot of the game using a geforce 6600GT

I'll save you the trouble of having to spend another $50 to play. Dont. It's not worth it, read through the games ratings to understand why.

I couldnt care less about game reviews because just because they dont like it, doesnt mean i wont. It's all just hype, one person says something, the others follow like a daft flock of pointless sheep. It's all just preferences and I wil decide for myslef whether i like it or not. No one else can judge anything else for me. That's what all the fanbois dont get. If they like it, everyonr else does.

Next time if i start a topic dont even bother to tell me a game is "crap" or is "legend" coz i will come to ur house, rip off ur legs, burn you and take the remaining carbon and have it filtered into a diamond. Tosspot.

Image quality hasn't changed much in the last few generations of cards. Take a old geforce or ati card and compare it to a new 6800/x800 at the same resolution and detail, there really isnt a difference. However, turing up the settings(which you have the option for with new gen cards) can make a big difference. Either way, Series 6 Nvidia cards seemed to have some strange shuttering problem with EQ2. So just dont expect anything big.

Anyway, I could send ya some screenshots over aim or msn if ya want but they are all of me haha. I could also take some of the cities or whater as well. My character isn't a high level yet though, so I can't show you all the great things that there are just yet. Oh, and that guy is so wrong about this game, unless of course all you want is pvp and solo ability. I'm on Lucan D'Lere (RP recommended) server and my guys name is Aumwaden for whenever yoiu get the game

Am not against pvp or anything, am actually for it but tht wont put me off eq2. The only problem i have with it is having to wait till i get 1gb ram but apart from that, this game rules.

btw if ur a druid, can u morph into flying animals?

i host the images off of www.imageshack.com and they give you a BB code to let you put it on forums. its the one in the [IMG] tag.

and yes druids and some other classes can turn into all sorts of animals including birds.

and ya very playable, i rarely get ANY lag unless im in extremely crowded areas and even then it only drops like to about 20fps

the reason i have such great FPS is because i custom tweak every setting in the display options. i have specular lighting on, but not shadows at all (unless im in not-so-crowded areas then i do) and some other stuff, i just tweak it to optimal preformance and quality.

thats not a super system.

makes me feel confident about running it at fairly good quality

i have a amd64 3000 1 gig Corsair ram ..fx5200 ... yes i am waiting on my BFG6800 ultra to arrive ..

after that ill start the eq2 adventure

yes you should be able to run it equally well if not slightly better i think.

You should run real sweet with that setup. One thing, I recently went from 1gb to 2gb of ram and OMG did it make a difference. Zones load so fast now, and I lost the resource leak issues when I upgraded as well. I dont know why but I did.

1gb will run you fine, 2 just makes it so sweet though.
